Takamichi Tranquility

this is tranquil indeed. love the nice cool mood of it and the painting is really well done. this is honestly, one of my favs from you id say and def a fav. the only advice i could give is maybe getting some grain out of the char?

really tranquil it is :D ima use this for now coz i need to be tranquil ><! im in my worst ebil mood right now i love the look how she's looking off the distance like me....*blush* lool >.>

anyway for the crit it's all good props to the painting job :D what are those things under the leaves? they look like lil butterflies (kick me if im wrong) and maybe a bit of an outline here and there to make the tree more solid

but all in all really nice piece it's so peaceful ;-;

I like your use of soft brushes and mild colors, it makes the paper as easy on the eyes as it is easygoing. The simplicity of the shapes and clothing also adds to the mild feeling of the piece. However, the most powerful aspect of all, I think, is the use of lighting. You made it so that the closer objects were darker and more defined than things more distant. The illusion of depth is extremely well done. Good show.

Ooo I really like this...can I have that tree?? I seriously need that as a pillow or something cos mine is 6 meters away right now >XD

Ahh...it looks good but the sky needs a little more smudging I guess. I can see the levels very clearly. And maybe the ground can look like a little more; grassy xD but mehhh...fuku likes it *_*

This well made. The artwork is very subtle in the way it's presented, but thats what gives it the calm and tranquil look.

Good thing is the overall athmosphere is my ideal one.You managed to capture the early sunrise/late sunset air pretty well,I can almost feel the breeze through my hair. Congrats :D The painting is well-done too,you should make more walls using this technique; And sure thing is ,though I like "Memories" and "Transience:Actress in Time" better,"Tranquility" is one of your best walls !! (so far,who knows what you're gonna come up next? ;) ) Great work,added to Favs.

I think a little amount of noise/grain on the background itself would be neat, because the scan is kinda grainy. A bit more detail/sharpness on the tree would probably be nice, too, since it would really match the scan then. A peaceful and relaxing wall nonetheless.

Yeah i like how you show the tree more as the center of the wall. It really catches the eye. The sunlight glowing is just great. The character's head has some glowing from the sunlight which makes the whole wall really complete. Nice bakground which creates good atmosphere. All the brushes adds the last touch of the whole wallpaper Great job

WoW! is so simly...beautiful wall! but very monochromatic...i mean...i confuse sky and flor.... anyway....i like it so much!

I would unfortunately have to say DONT try CG'ing using a mouse. It's nigh on impossible.

With that said, I still think this could've been better. With a little more time. The painting really doesn't flow that we with the clean cut scan. Adding little details in the tree, and leaves that aren't all clustered together would help alot, I think.

I really like this wall and the whole thing, like kiru say it after watching for a while it brings you some calm, and makes you want to have a place like that.

The only thing that seems a little odd are the leaves *allready read it on the description*, is a big tree so maybe should have more leaves, well, maybe is just my rusty and weird imagination, except that like a said before, is simple wonderful. ~fav.

More Takamichi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You guys are making me so jealous...too many projects to do first grrr A very original use of the scan...the girl fits in well with your new background (although her foot does look a little odd without the rock/beach...maybe she's doing a stretch on the grass hehe)

Love the paint job on the grass and the tree trunk (great job preserving the detail)...really goes for the oil paint feel...really like how you used subtle color changes to indicate a slope change on the grass The tree leaves do look a little funky though...are the white fuzzy things supposed to be flowers?...might work better with the same smooth paint look as the grass although you did decent texture/depth on them

mmm, delicious, a true delight this is what i call romantic not much action goin on, but whoa, what a view! only the trunk could be sharper so friggin awesome, i dunno what to say

calm and soothing, love it! finally some one think the same way as i did, walls nowadays are filled with text, fancy graphics and artificially, emotionless girls in suggestive pose... this one devies them all!!

More over it was drawn??? manually??? darn i might get the wrong meaning out of the naration, but if it was drawn...all hail this wall i say!!!

cool stuff, the colour and everything, the realism induced in it... somehow less details make it more realistic in representing a drawing/painting and allows for viewer's imagination to fill in the gaps.

wow, i really like this. This is really relaxing for the eyes. All the colors go together so well and the way it's colored instead of vectoring adds to it! the shading is really nice too. anyways! keep oup the good job. hopefully one day i can be as good as you. =]

Ah very nice another masterpeice from the famous flyindreams ^_^. I have to admit when I saw it, I wasnt so excited about it. Now that I look at it, it makes you feel relaxed and tranquil. Ill add this to my favs well done.

Interesting wallpaper, also from the point that most of the Takamichi weallapers have very high contrats colors, and your rather a washed-out one, reminding me a mood before a rain. The painting is done fairly well, just the leaves could be more random instead a tree which looks like a globe.
