Anyways crap, I think this wall looks awesome, especially the smoke. I think the horizon could be just a touch smoother, and maybe a bit more smudge to to the sky to make the brush strokes slightly less obvious. Overall atmosphere rocks though xD Nice paint attempt!

I rather like the sort of uneveness of the horizon an obvious paint strokes.. It reminds me of the expressive arts of Van Gogh...

Well I haven't seen Jin Roh but I can definitely feel the quiet creepiness from the wall Love the paint smudged sky...it's soft without being flat And I know I'm weird but I especially like your smudge job on the character's back/legs...keeps him looking painty without losing the techiness of the rest of the character A little weird that his left foot is totally lost in the darkness but I guess it's necessary with your chosen horizon

You really are tallented when it it comes to making walls of this type. Your wallpapers seem to use very minimum amount of elements but end up looking fantastic in their simplicity. I kind of envy the quality in your work. I loce the overall atmosphere of this wallpaper. It matches the subject and captures the mood of the film perfectly. Hats off to you for another great submission.

A very nice and atmospheric piece! I think you acomplished what you set out to achieve with the smudging. It does give a oil paining feel to the wallpaper. The vector of the soldier is really well done and how you've positioned him on the crest of the hill is quite effective. I especially like the white eyes against the darkness. Great Job! ^_^

I like it, really, especially the smoke. And I don't why, but for me it's bringin' back the atmosphere of the movie. Although I think the blue could be bit darker, or maybe change blue to another color. Or maybe you could try another background. I think a bg with some buildings on it would be great.

Simply good. This wall helps capture Kazuki's role as a lone wolf. I liked the armor design for the show, and this silloulette works well. Red eyes would've been a good change. The clouds were well done. Smoke around the weapon adds to the effect.

It definitly fits with the scary (but awsome) look of the protect gear used in the movie. I like it.

this is absolutely perfect. completely un-intrusive. VERY high in mood. almost makes you shake as you look at it. really really brings out the fear that the kerberos give out. the coloring is perfect, im glad you did not use red, because that would have been OVER dramatic, and would have killed the overall mood of the picture. this calming blue and black makes you feel even more uncomfortable. its like this peaceful tranquil scene, with a demon standing right in the middle of it all. center framed subject is always a plus.

This has always been one of my favorite wallpapers, ever. It's simply beautiful and subtle. I never tire of using it and the colors are lovely. This wallpaper is absolutely perfect, much like your other work.

Cleanly depicts the "lone-wolf" aspect of the series of films. The sky is done beautifully. My only problem is the lack of red from the eyes. The "red spectacles" were a large source of symbolism in the series.

Here we go... this is what I was looking for! the other wallpapers for this topic are waaay too dark for my taste, but this shows the gentler side of the wolf brigade. After I saw the movie, the one line that stuck in my head was what the teacher at the special forces school says about there being some comfort in being a beast. One has no need to worry about what a man might worry about. This wall gives a calm point in the beast's life, which is probably why I like it the most of the Jin-Roh wallpapers. 11/10

It took me forever, but I managed to watch the Wolf Brigade. The art is kinda simple, and the eyes were the wrong color. The smoke from the gun and the simple background is good. It paints the trooper in a low light. Perhaps a body at the feet would be great?
