Vision of Escaflowne - Holding On...

Escaflowne! Hitome! I didnt like the movie as much as the series. But, the art sure was alot better on my book. I still say you could of added more feathers XD Or add some wings on hitome, but its all good. I like the puddle effect, and the grungy Ground. Great Work.

Absolutley, positivley beautiful. I love the way you did the water and I absolutley LOVE the floating feathers. Mostly because though everyone likes floating feathers, you deifnitley rendered them differently and more beautifully then I've seen in a while so you get a cookie!

I've already seen this Hitomi, but the background is 1000 times better than the original one in the sky. Love it ... add it >_

There haven't been a lot of Escaflowne wallpapers out there, that I've seen anyways, that have impressed me. This one is probably the best use of this particular scan that I've seen. Props.

Good useage of dual-coloring to match the subject image. Not many people work with tan/brown hues, and it's a shame because they accent any other colors, in this case blue, very nicely.

Whoa! I've never seen a wallpaper that used this image and wasn't horrendously BLUE. xD The puddle of water is great, and I couldn't even tell she was vectored until I read that! That means it's good, honest. |D Awesome job!

hitomi really looks cute here , i like her countenance and the background is really artistic , the contrast and the brightness are also well adjust.

the first thing that catches your eye is definately hitomi, but then the feathers draw you to the rest of the image, nice touch

it captures my taste completely as i love the angelicness of it, the laid back attitude, the grunge and ruggedness of it. in short, your wall has life and is not merely a pretty face. (or rather a pretty canvass.)

i first thought that her hair was in a deep blur but knowing Kalico wouldn't blur her subjects i took a closer look and now that i've seen the full view. i am just amazed. ;) I love the fact that you indulged her in water as the shadows and lighting show.

however, there can still be some work for the scan. as some of it are overly sharp in colour.

I could have used this as my desktop wall, btw. lol. It's just cool.

I love it escaflowne is very much a fav for me and I love the movie very much, it is the best when watching it in japanese with english subtitles. It makes it much much better to watch or in this case read.

Wonderful wonderful wall! I LOVE the feathers in the air, and the details on the surface of water is awesome - reflections of clouds and buildings looks real! You can also tell the *depth* of the puddle because you can see the bottom of the water (the ground), and you can tell that there's soft wind blowing not only by because there are flying feathers but also because you can see ripples on the water. Amazing. The vectored image is flawless, and the texture of the ground makes Hitomi more visible and vibrant.

There's nothing that particularly stands out to me; it all looks like it came together well. Nice job.

very nice.. from the bg to the title. the floor tiles were made visible with the dirt-like shadings, and the shadings were done perfectly.. the paddle too, was detailed with the reflection of the sky and buildings, and the ripples, those made it looked close to real paddle. another nice touch is the shadows from the feathers and hmm i guess the left ones are the shadows of the building as reflected in the paddle. the lighting was done nicely too. lastly the font, it blended well with the entire wall.

I got absolutely no bad comment to make,the wall is absolutely beautiful!! XD Though..I don't get t...*frowns* under the character there's water,or what,coz it has no ripples,no anything ...

I think it's the unique composition that got me, what with the girl lying on a puddle that surrounded by a burnt-looking ground. I get a peaceful feeling looking at this, lol. As much as I like the fact that this is a very different use of a very popular image--I feel like it could have been edited a little better. I do like the effect however and feel it was well done, with the exception of the occasional noise it's a really good wall.

I love the quality of this picture... It's so clean and serene... It may be just a messy puddle she's lying onto but her prescence alone gives the place grace and magnificence.. I like clash of texture.. it's very smooth to the eyes. Your choice of font is excellent too! Beautiful work!

Overall, the package is great. Love the way of did the shadows and water reflection and how it ripples. The feathers adds the a bit "magic" into the WP. The pavement/roads looks fantastic. Just needs to improve how elements reacts when they touch or submerge with water.

I don't know English and for this reason it is that I use a program to translate what I write and I read.
It is very beautiful his/her wallpaper, but I didn't think the puddle of water has been very realistic, I know that it is not easy to do that and I don't know to do then don't have the right a lot of complaining, but I think could be better.
The idea is really good and very applied the wallpaper will be beautiful.

The wall isn't really that great if you don't look at it closely. But as you look at the waterpool, you begin to realise the work that has been put in it... The reflection in the water is very well done and it just gives this wall that little contrast that makes this wallpaper stand out. (cold sky and city in the waterreflection <--> plain sidewalk with warmcolours). With the girl as a bridge between the two diffrent worlds. And the feathers just make the composition complete.
