pretty dark & gory...but tastefully done. ^^ i agree that the overall effect of the wall is very realistic...well, as realistic as an animated thing could be :P

The wall gives me the same chills I get from watching the show. In fact, the whole wallpaper looks like it could be a promotional poster for the show itself. The atmosphere is really makes a chill run down your spine and the splattered blood looks desturbingly real giving the wall an even more unnering feel. This wall definitely goes into my favorites. Great job!

I just love to see the blood, but, for some funny reason, this wallpaper reminds me of a rusty wall. Not to bad I guess, needs a bit more work on the blood patches.

I am currently using this as my desktop for my linux partition. Very nice job with this wallpaper, HIgurashi is a really cool show and I think you did it justice with this wallpaper.

wow, I'm glad someone's used a scan from the manga (that I really really want to read), and urge you to finish this series. I'm sure you have by now. But it not. Then do so! For the sake of your wallpaper.

I think some of the blood was a tad bit overdone, but I really enjoy the shadow of the bat. Like a lot! It seems like you're the one holding it abover her and Mion's just got thsi blank stare up at you. I love it! This is a definite fave and to be placed on my desktop! Great job, keep it up.

This wallpaper is absolutely fantastic, but I think the blanket's shadow is a little unnecessary (either that, or it's a little misplaced). Great gory effect :D

My favorite Higurashi wallpaper on this site or anywhere else.

The saddest thing is when you think about whose blood that is... The shadow of the bat and her sad sad expression just makes it very emotional to me, and it also looks more realistic that other walls I've seen.
