So I've been sitting on this project for rather a long time...I even sketched it out by hand at one point before I got distracted by other things
But I finally got it started and got it finished... so here's the wall version of my Deck'o'Cards contribution for the Invalid Litter Dept...the five of spades
The character is vectored based on this Okama scan with obvious alterations Everything else is free-hand vectored with the exception of the Illustrator brush used in the background
Technical Details Time: about 15 hours Layers: about 30 layers after merging character layers Illustrator vectorwork

some walls just hit the spot, no matter if they are complex or simple [like this one] -- they just hit it. you cannot describe it in advance, but when you see it -- you know it. it kinda reminds me of alice in wonderland. and everything with alice is psychodelic. :3 awesome wall, really.

...*_*... The wallpaper is so awesome! I love the scan.... it´s so adorable... The colours are pretty, clean and nice... much brown tones there. Greeeat. Good work with vectoring. The wallpaper is quite simple but it´s so attractive... The background shapes could be maybe a little darker/lighter (I mean that I could see them better ^^;). I love the atmosphere of the wallpaper, it´s so enertic and cheerful. Amazing work! Excellent work, my new favourite :D

i'm hungry. makes me wana eat cookies. CHOC cookies -_^! perhaps a bit of effect on the brown bg would have made it look more exciting... like, say, a variety/shades of the brown? i suppose that the spades on the ground could have had variety to the colour too. yea... and, i think u forgot the shadow of the jester dude. no matter wat lighting, there's always a shadow, cept for ghosts of course! i like the text font u chose, gives a choclaty feeling <to me, anyways...> tis cute, n simple. a thumbs up, from me!

simple but cool. i do like the picture but don't like the background. it's too dark and monocolor so i guess you have to make it brighter ^^

I love the burnt umber and the spade motif, though I think some subtle shading on the girl would make it even better~ : )
