This wallpaper is perfect. Right down to the widescreen resolution so that I don't even have to edit it to use with my laptop's widescreen. I too fell in love this the scan the first time I saw it six monthes ago, but this is the first wall using this scan that I think really actually added something and made the scan picture even better. <3

I have seen this scan used many times before with the same stuff to the background. But your really blew them right out of the water. I mean the use of clouds and the vector brushes aren't something I don't see with this type of concept. And the super clean vectoring and soft details, this really caught my eye when I saw the highlighted. A unique and completly orginal wallpaper that deserves a favorite from me and, most likely, many, many other members.

I like how you put the sky on her robe. I was kind of confused at first because at the front part of her robe it wasn't sky...oh wait, that's the bird isn't it? hehe Anyway, I also like the arrows and circle things in the background. I don't really think they fit in, but it looks good. Great job!

Astonished. Gosh, I've seen this scan so many times too and was quite sick of it. But what you've done with it is just absolutely fantastic. I got to love the creativity (And more so, the effort because I would never use this scan, EVER. Overusage is a dangerous thing). Looking at this makes me want to just . . . fly away. One of the smartest ways to use stock photo, absolutely. Great. Your work with vectoring is good. The scan is one of my favourites, it´s cute and nice. The background has abstract shapes and patterns in it, it´s kind of suprising but I like it. The colours of the wallpaper are pretty and lovely <3 I would like it even more without that "Take flight" box. The box disturbs me a little bit but I can´t explain why, sorry... -_-; Outstanding work, you really deserved that highlighting! My new favourite ^^

Excelent vector backgound technique and the render cloud effect is awsome. I love the render you choose. It just have the desktop defenitions problem, but that can be solved with black stripes in the top and bottom. Just continue, I'll be arround here to judge :P

I believe the scan used to be traditional media? You turned it into a lovely modern vectored wallpaper, which is amazing. All the hard work really paid off, id use this for my desktop anyday. aaah I was just about to praise ur cloud painting skills when I remembered I havent read the desc yet XDD; anyways ~ excellent vector and making the clothes transparent (sorry, I have low vocabs to make my words more intelligent sounding ) is very unique <3 I'm not sure about the kinda retro (or whatever u call it) bg on the left side though . its like cramming lots of themes into one wall . (the clouds r sceneric already) the strong lines of the vector is very pleasing to view ~ just like the original inking style for TRC ;) the hair part may need a lil touching up , but meh . the overall wall is amazing <3 ^^ keep it up kay ~

When I first saw the thumbnail, I thought it looked way too busy. But when I fullviewed it, wow... there's so much detail. The vector itself looks exactly like an image from an artbook. I do love the stock photo you used for the background/clothing and it blends well. The only thing that irks me is that some of the black lines are a little pixelated, but it's not too noticeable if you don't look for them. Other than that, this is a splendid 'paper!

I'm still in awe at how everything in the picture blends in. The wings being the sky was a very creative idea. How you made this like a mind game, I do not know. I spent a few minutes just gazing at each detail, following the lines. The robe blending with the wings which blended with the sky is, kami, words cannot describe.

Furthermore, the textures of the hair are superb and the foot that sticks out in the corner just makes the picture twist even more. When I first looked at it I thought I saw a floating foot. >.<

Details are big for me and this picture really hit it off. Again, this is spectacular.

Weird resolution? Oh well, I actually prefer widescreen. The contrast between the warm pink and the cool blue is pretty amazing, and plays nicely with the outlines. A wallie that you don't get tired of even after looking at it for hours. A truly amazing piece of work and definitely a fav!

This is a beautiful wall. I love how it utilizes an already-existing picture and merges it (or whatever the technical term is) with other pictures and designs. AWESOME!

i really like the concept of the wall... it's something you really don't see everyday... the wall gives a soothing feeling... makes you calm... the colour is great. but the vector job is not very good... CLAMP may have drew the lines not smoothly, but you could always make it more smooth...

i've never seen tsubasa chronicle (though i hear about it all the time), but this wallpaper is so unique and pretty! like everyone else has said, i really like the idea of making her robe "see-through" to the sky. i really like the colors - they blend together very nicely!

I've seen several wallpapers that have used this particular scan of Sakura and so far this one is the most appropriate and stylish take on the theme. And best of all, it actually works with my widescreen laptop. (So may great wallpapers aren't widescreen.)

This wallpaper is freakin' amazing. It is a shame that I cannot download it. Hopefully commenting on it will get me there. It would also help if I had a wide screan laptop, it would be a shame to crop it. It would be like cropping the Mona Lisa.

It took me a while to reconize the scan, but that just made it feel all the more original. The colors flow well and this is the first time I've seen vector brushing (at least knowingly).

wow, geez i almost missed this featured wall. The wall looks SO much better enlarged. In the thumbnail version it looks like a bunch of colours but wow this wall is certainly amazing. The blending of the background and the abstract vector behind it. It certainly is a featured wall and i can't say any more because I am astonished.

Oh my goodness, this is gorgeous. I absolutely love how you put snatches of the sky in those wings... every thing is so clear. That blue sky with the clouds just makes me feel like SUMMER! And is it just me, or do those clouds seem to form the shape of the continents on the world map...? Hmm how interesting. The clouds in the original picture of that sky don't look like a world map, but on those wings, I can see Asia, Africa, and North America. And Europe. Except North America is attached to Europe.

Unbelievable wallpaper that stun me and change my whole view and impression on wallpapers. This is an exllent, beyond my expectation wallpaper. A lot of work and effort has been done to the picture to embed the sky onto Sakura. The pink and blue contrast are excellent. Never thought of using blue and pink as a match. A impressive work and thanks for sharing.

I just got a new widescreen laptop, so I was looking for walls to use with it, when I stumbled across this wall. It's absolutely GORGEOUS!! The colors are very bright and attractive and blend together very well. It's a very original wall! +fav

Just by glancing at this picture, I can tell how much time you must have put into it. What an amazing effect! I was a little confused at first as to why I could see the sky in Sakura's sleeves, but it hit me an instant later, lol. Very well done. Your background itself is simple, but the image modification is to die for. Too bad it's wide screen.

I don't even know where to begin... the piece has so much substance that one could get lost just appreciating everything. The "pop art" background is awesome because it's not only stylish (as it mixes up soft and sharp shapes and sizes) but also because it uses the artistic element of movement (by having the arrows) which adds to the text of "take flight."

The main character's garment being turned into the sky was already clever in its own right, but its execution tied in with every other element exponentially increased its value to me. The bird held everything together rather well, what with its tail reaching everywhere and all. Fantastic job; it really does reach the "unbelievable" rating justifiably.
