Challenge:
Pre-90's Anime/Manga Fun! As the title says, basically make a wall of any anime or manga made before the '90s. No restrictions whatsoever on the wallpaper style, so it can be grunge, vector, paint, you name it. HOWEVER, the wall needs to stay true to the spirit/mood/feeling of the series or movie while being creative at the same time. So ideally the judging breakdown would be 50% true to anime and 50% creativity.
This was the title for the battle between Invincible Intercosmic de Factor Working Party vs Trompe Les Mondes. With the result: IIDFWP wins with 75% and TLM with 37%
Anyways, that wasn't important. It was fun. ^^ (Okay, not really fun, since it's really hard to look for any Pre-90's anime scan with cute boys in it.)
So, okay... finally I chose the scan of Camille Bidan and Four Murasame from Gundam Zeta. Actually the scan was pretty clean, but I insist on vectoring coz it'll look cleaner that way. The vectoring was tough but it took 3 days straight to complete. And when I finished the vector, suddenly I was thinking... and I began to feel that Camille looks hotter and hotter the everytime I stare at the vector. OX
But anyways, the background was remade based on the scan I've got from AnimePaper. Got another building vector from Stock Xchange, extracting Gundam Psycho from the scan which was behind Camille and Four and then adding another extracted Gundam Zeta from another scan, blending them, brushing around... all of these took about 1 week. And thanks to Kozaihod for checking and helping me with the wall.

beautiful wall of Four and Camille... i haven't watch the movie yet, but catched the series already. It's a heck of a good series... (somehow i see the similarity with SEED: Destiny...)
excellent work on the vectoring, i love it! and the background is perfect with the Psycho and Zeta together... looks a little crowded back there, but it's okay...

the vector work is very sexy lol. I agree that the bg could be a bit more clearer since you went to the trouble to add such nice extras. Like the type and it's a great job overall

The relationship that could have been. Four and Kamille. I've been playing Gundam vs. Zeta Gundam, and I think the world would have been a better place, had Four survived. Very nice depiction. :)

The fog is too thick to see anything at the back. The text needs major improving there too.
Finally, it's Zeta. So, it's a winner. Essentially.

Very cool. There's never enough Universal Century wallpaper with all the SEED stuff floating around.
Although, I think the Zeta Gundam in the background should've been replaced with Gundam Mk-II. I assume that you're probably trying to recreate the Movie II cover. Either way, great job.

i love this 2 character..however, they seldom appear on wallpaper >< anyway,i think it would be better if the background gundam can be clearer. nice job !

Very well.. was seriously getting a bit annoyed that the three Zeta Gundam walls on this site barely contained mechs with this particular wall at the root of my element bc it has one of those sentiumentall character shots.. but I was wrong. I didn't mind attention to the background at first nor did I go beyond that thumbnail Apparently thumbnails really don't do enough justice to the work. Basically.. can't use thumbnails to judge a piece entirely.
P.S. I still have problems with artificial newtypes.. they're so dangerous and a such a liability too!

I have to admit this up front, I love Four so I'm going to be just a little biased in favor of anything featuring her. With that out of the way, I must say I love this wallpaper. The fog in the background, along with the presence of the Zeta Gundam, reminds me of the "Forever Four" episode, which is just about my favorite Zeta episode and unfortunately was cut from the new Zeta movie adaptations. To sum it all up, this is a great wallpaper.

The characters look nice and crisp, but that only makes the background look even blurrier. I really like kamille and four though...i'd really like to see a wallpaper with them and tons of particle effects, almost gundam 00 amount of glowly particles lol
