Not bad at all! The only thing I have to say is that you can change the font....that one looks too hard, having a soft font will make it more effective ;)

The fence kind of distracts the attention from Lacus. The font could be a little smaller to give the illusion of additional depth to the wall. Other than that, nice job overall on the wall.

The tree seems to have just a little to many flower petal's on it. But other then that, I like it quite a bit.

It's a beautiful bright wall and the texturing on the fence is particularly good. I can see you carefully tuned brush dynamics for the cherry blossom tree :P But if you look at Lacus, she has distinct shadows and you should have done the same with your background, because at present it does look a bit on the flat side. I'd add shading to the fence and shadows cast by the upright stakes, and use a combination of gentle burning and overlaying of a darkening layer on the cherry tree to add shadows to the underside of the canopy. Sorry if this sounds extensive.. if you like the message is 'add shadows :P'

i really like the cherry tree in the background. i think the grass would look better if it was greener, and maybe if the fence was gone? it seems to distract from the rest of the wall to me. the soft colors in this wall looks very nice.

I think you should lose the grass in front of the character. And lessen the petals on the tree. And add shadows on the petals.

And keep on making good wallpapers. :)

Wow. I've never seen this image of Lacus (and I thought i've seen them all :D ) But I really like the colours and the setting. It's so nice and tranquil. I also like your text. However, though I said that I like the colours, I always thought that sakura blossoms go better with green green grass - I do like the grass color that you have, but it gives off more of an autumn feel. My humble opinion. Overall, it's going to my faves!

Well uh, yeah the background definetly fits Lacus, I suppose. The only thing that kind of glares at me though is the fence. I guess I don't like the fence much.

You built the entire background yourself? Mmm, not bad, not bad at all. I agree with the feel that it produces. Also, though some people dislike the fence, I find that it works quite well. It eliminates some problems with the segue between the grassy fields and the distant mountains, and provides a bit of balance to Lacus on the right.

One point, which other people have touched upon, is that the cherry tree is a bit two-dimensional. It's not like a real tree at all--I think the lack of branches is the main problem. The process of incorporating the branches (and a bit of shading) would immediately introduce the necessary depth to make the picture perfect. The lack of depth stands out. Everything else...the sky, the mountains...works. Lots of promise.

This is really cool. This is the first time that I've seen this picture of Lacus. And I like how you added that caption, "Waiting to see you" I think that the mountains in the background is a really nice effect to the wallpaper as well as the blowing petals and the sakura tree.

Beautiful wallpaper. Lacus looks cute in that outfit. The style of the animation also looks quite different than many of the other pics i see her in. I really love the background too. The wooden fence and tall grass is so common in those "waiting for you" or "welcome home," kind of scenes. The cherry blossom tree is stunning too. The petals look great falling in front of Lacus and match her hair as well. Definitely one of my favorite wallpapers. Keep up the awesome work.
