I love the grunge look! simple perfect for the scan! and the cool yellow/brownish colors definitly suit the overall theme of the wall. I also like the clock behind her fits the concept and its well blended! Favorites for me!

Another sensation wall by redxxii. I like the grunge look (old-skool style). The colour combination is surely are match for this style and adding the clock makes the scan look faded away. If anyone knows how to make a beautiful grunge wall it is you. You're style is unique and you've made some of the best grunge walls I've ever seen. The simple serenity of the character scan and the clocks in the background compliment each other very well. I've noticed that you have a thing for clocks and the concept of time, this idea is once again expertly portrayed in your walls. +fav

I've seen the other submissions for the contest, and I do agree that this is one of the best entries. How you made brown look so good is beyond me. And kudos to you for staying true to your style. I have a feeling that this wallpaper will be a big influence in turning clocks into the new "planet + grass".

The overall blending job in this wall is great. The character is well adapted to the background and the clock looks really nice, especially with the color pallet you used for the entire wall. The way the clock appears through the sheerness of her dress is really beautiful. Easily one of my favorite RahXephon walls.

Great job! The grungy and abstract background really blends with the other textures. The skin colors flows with the character's emotions and feelings. The clock takes you back into old centuries and has the ancient Roman numerals instead of standard numbers. Nice mixture of brown, gold, and yellow colors. It's in the right value; not too dark nor bright. Keep up the work and effort!

The grunge and contrast is great! The golden dress of the girl is what draws in your eye, but the background is just dark enough to give her an outline.

Rahxephon walls with clocks? A dime a dozen. Raxhephon walls using this particular image? There have to be at least a dozen on this website alone. And yet... I adore this wall. It's so well-done and so perfectly put together that it really stands out from all of the rest. Gorgeous, just gorgeous.

She looks so sad as she's fading away there. But it's a nice feel to the wallpaper since it seems nostalgic. Nostalgia tends to evoke some amount of sadness, and memories of the past do fade with time.

I don't know much about those diffrent styles, but I DO know that I like yours! The wallpaper is just so simple yet you have put in loads of details and the colors just feel so warm... Even an amateur like me can see that you master this technique!

I just had to check this out and I was right it was a wonderfull wall. The time concept is brilliant and the colours are superb. The way she drags through time is amazing, I love how the dress becomes more translucent as it streches out further as witht the scarf and her hair. Also the concentration on the character is great, it drags my attention from everything else and lets me focus on the character. Finally, the colours are perfect it brings out the right atmosphere for the time concept. GREAT job i really like it, keep up the great work cause its a fave :D!

Very nice, I like the use of fading and the glimmer of light on the lettering. I think the small range of orange coloring also plays nicely with the theme of the scan and the anime. The grungy feel makes the whole tone very eerie and serene. Nice work!

Wow.. this is great. I love the fading effect you apply with the character, and how it looks like she's fading away into the background. The background itself is full of intricate detail and lovely textures! .. I love the "wind" effect you emphasize in this piece... as well as your choic of presenting this image. I've seen this image used before... but I really like the color scheme and way you presented this one ^.^ .. My only ".." about this would probably be the font o.O .. "Rah Xephon looks like "R ah Xephon" to me because of the font style .. >< .. other than that though, as usual, it's a job well done! ^.^ Keep it up! :3

HI! I remember seeing this character on your avy and sig, ne? Hehe, rock on! The grunges and textures on teh BG looks sublime! I see you added sum world maps and what not to the mix as well! As for the character, U might want to remove the outlines from her extraction! Wat I do is highlight her by holding CTRL & click on teh scan layer, and then use Select :: Modify :: Contract to 1 pixel! Then Inverse and delete the desired outline! Viola, she looks magnifique! Anyhoo, it still is a wonderful wallie, deddy! Hope my simple tutorial helps U out, ne! wasn't this your avatar at one point?? Heh, heh...thought it was familiar. I really like the scan but I think I like how it's integrated into the BG more. The way the grunge overlaps the character is done very skillfully. It's enough to make the image interesting but not too much as to cover up or distract. The color is a nice earthy color that fits very well with the image. I think the feathers are an exceptional touch. Their slight glow adds intrigue and contrast the darker colors. It also makes her skin almost seem luminous. very nice job!!!O.o

I fell in love with a 2D Trap, there is nothing more to say, feel my power... for forbidden enjoyment between one man and the other male... in secret that is, hidden in a page of the udiary, which is puuuresented for all to see in this wall. Therue is nothing short uof amazement really, I agree with Starrys; perhaps the background needs to be revamped. It would look really cute if you could put them in a clinic setting, or at least draw the white curtain that you see patients sit behind in clinics. It'd be cute if there was a fake doctor's set with other tools around Haruhi; it'd be euasier touu believe they'd be playingu doctor how one can just come in my life like ua stone hitting rock bottom... oh, THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I make a wallpaper with so much girly stuffs... I've useen this scan for a while, and nobody seems to have used it in their wallpaper until today, so thanks a buuuunch. Takuto is one of my favorite characters in the series and this is a great wallie. I do have some comments though. The text bothers me a little. I'm not sure if Papyrus would be the font to work with on a wallpaper like this. The background is also nice, but a bit too bold, if you know what I mean.
