I don't know if anyone else here as read Jiraishin, but if you get the chance do. So after I had finished the last volume, I really wanted a Jiraishin wallpaper. However I really couldn't find any, so I thought "hey, why not make your own?" So (obviously) I did.
The BG was a scan from the back cover of volume 16 or 17. However it wasn't big enough to use in a wallpaper. So I had to recreate the leftside to it extended out, both the street and the sidewalk. It was actually kind of fun. After that, I grunged it up a bit and then looked for a nice scan of the Ky to add. I found one, and it worked quite well. I really like how the shadow turned out, though I had to mess with it alot to get it to look right. Still, I really like the wallpaper. I messed around with the lighting and colors before it ended up at this. ^^;

Oh wow! I lvoe the feeling of this wall! Jsut gives that slow, calm lonely-like pace and the brown mixed with the darkness sure make this wall stand out! Excellent work re-creating the sidewalk and then adding effects to it! Awesome brush work here, grunging parts of the wall! I like the perpective too! Perfect job on this, love the creativity and of course and instant Favorite! Good job!

I really like the look of this wall, it kind of reminds me of colored-pencils. Good choice of colors and perspective as well. The text seems a bit too strong and stands out a bit too much though, I think you might want to tone it down a bit.

Waah, it's so good! I actually, thought that it looked like a painting when, I first saw it while looking through AP. I love the effects you put in, and the grunge is perfact! n_n I really like it. +Fav you deserve it. ^_~

The feel this wallpaper gives off truely does reflect what the title is. It does show a lot of emotion and I love the techniques in it!

a very sad piece... but a very excellent one at that. It has a very blurred but very artistic design. I just love the way the skyscrapers are reflected in the water of the street. Altogether very solemn, an absolutely beautiful.
