I definitely missed making wallpapers. I thought that this picture was kind of captivating... maybe a little bit on the provocative side but I thought that charatcer picture reallyhad a story to tell so I tried my best to make an appropriate background for it. First of all it was rather difficult to extract her specially her hair. For the background I started with a stock photo of rock and blended it with textures and filters. I thought it was kind of bare to just have her lying down on the floor. I made the picture frames shes lying down on separately. There aren't very many gilgames pictures out there so I just used the frames over and over again. My brother made a suggestion while I was making the wallpaper... he said that it would look cool if I made her seem like she was lying down on water. That there is the hardest part of them all! Although I have not perfected the water effect yet I really tried my best. I mostly used the liquify filter and used ripple and ocean ripple filter too. The water outline was done by brush. This was really a lot of work and I am pretty happy with the end product. Comments and tips always appreciated!

I think it's different. I've never seen a character like this. Sorry I don't know what "Gilgamesh" is. But I like it. +favs!

nyaaaaaaaaa Fuku.......or was it Fuko........gah in the japanese it sounded like Fuku and in the english it sounds like Fuko.......oh well she is gorgeous and the wallpaper ish amazing XD +favs

I really like this scan. Its great!! The water effect its quite good but I dont like the characters, maybe you should have made another effect on them. All the rest is very good!

I have to say the water effect was extremely successful. it looks amazing. gilgamesh is also one of my favorite anime titles so thanks for making a wall with this scan.

It has a definite artistic feel... um, kinda like a painting, but more digital? Anyway, The texture work is very good, and the colors and light are very harmonious and match just right. Also, a great job with the text too ^_^

I like gilgamesh and i always happy to find new wallpaper. Water effect is not bad its really looks like painting. Maybe i will do reameke of this wallpaper with some other effects. Text look great nice touch must say.
