Fullmetal Alchemist Shades of Melancholy

its much better than before, and I know the effect you were going for since I've seen the movie, but..I still don't dig the color/black and white. =\ I've never really seen any walls that pulled off this trick succesfully, and while yours is damn good, its just not down my alley.

Nice alley, nice use of textures. I didn't see the movie, so no. I don't really understand your use of colors. But I don't dig the dull grey background with a sudden colorful and vibrant Ed. It just doesn't blend. Other than that. Good job.

A nice wallpaper though I wonder why the character would glow given the background is quite mono as in grey & white. Nevertheless I like the background

Oooh I like the idea you went for, I've seen the movie before (it was pretty good ^^) and yeah you can tell that the colours are fairly different in each world ^^ It looks almost like as if Edward is isolated in this wall =P Coz he's the only thing which is in colour. Nice idea ;D

The alley 3D-ness looks cool and the texturing as well. If everything was constructed from scratch then you've done tremendous job. Love the backwall and the lamp post. Not sure about the glowing Ed - haven't seen the movie.. I'd say his shoes and bottom of his pants could be blended better with the bg though, atm the difference of colours look rather too contrasty and perhaps lacking shadows on the floor. Building a believable world from scratch is not easy and I think you've done a pretty good job overall :)

the bg looks like 3D~~!! but the shade around ed'head should not be yellow I think

Wonderful background. Your composition is fantastic :).

It is a wallpaper with atmosphere very much. Edward who pauses in the seen mysterious space looks away the reality like the back of the alley and the building, etc.

I really like the 3d concept of the alley and the background. It really brings into life. And yea... the concept of the movie is pretty obvious in this wall. And Ed really looks sad... nice walL!!!

Waiii I think you did great with this wall! I see that maybe the glow around him was to separate him with the rest of the world. personally, i don't see anything wrong with the idea of a colored person in the mist of black and white town. Great JOB!

HM... I like that CG-background. It looks like a real photography. Edward's "light" effect in the wall looks very smooth and nice. Edward looks a bit blurry compared with the rest of the pic, but the picture overall looks great.

Ooh, I like the atmoshpere of this wall...but I think it would be better if you added color to the lampost, and maybe tint the walls a color? Or just make Ed gray so the whole wall matches.

I like this wallpaper. The style reminds me of a colorized black-and-white photograph. The only part I don't like, per se, is the texture of the ground. It seems too regular--too CG--to fit in with the rest of the setting. Otherwise, it's a fantastic wallpaper.

I love the greyscale. I'm not sure the colour really works in it, but the scene is great.

It is one of my most favourite Fullmetal Alchemist wallpapers. How should I put it :)) The atmosphere in this wallpaper is myterious, quiet and deep. Grown-up Edward with serious look is disposed to the right made the theme seems larger ^^ I love your work. It's a great wallpaper! Thanks for sharing.

I like this one alot the mood ad picture shows the whole over side of FMA.

I can really see the movie in this one. The background is done really well and it's very realistic except for the glow around Ed and the perspective is off for the ground. The paving stones on the ground go to a different vanishing point than the alley. Still a really cool scene.
