Well besides the bright green grass amongst your pale colored surroundings, the fact that you took the easy way out with the animal/bird in the wall thing (XD Actually I had used that scan before so I wasn't going to use it again...), and the weird gathering of branches on the right, this wall is great with all its moody atmosphere.

I am sorry puppychow, but I voted for highknees wall, it was just so cool XD The first time I saw it I was like man I can't wait to fav this one. It got the cool light, reflections from water, the scan matches so well, it was just a render perfect wall. Awsome job highknees, I realy like this one.

the amount of work that went into this wall shows - the water looks fabulous, btw. i'm not a fan of the text but you apparently aren't either, so i won't be picky. i don't really like the grass in the foreground (since, if one is seeing grass up close, shoudn't they see the vertical "grain" the grass has?) but the lighting on said grass & throughout the wall is great. good job!

Great shadow theme and the brook and house in the wall are a great subtle touch. Keep up the great work!

I personally like the grass, it adds a nice realitic touch to it, and I think its well excecuted. The blending is very well done and so is the lighting. I still don't like the piece though. xp

The lighting used in this wall and the perfect preception of depth is simply gorgeous. Just the silhouetted forrest in the background in stunning to look at, alone. The elements in the foreground look realisticly illuminated by the light source. Very believable and convincing job with that. Instant fave! Congradulations on such a well crafted work.

WHOA!!! I love the look of this wall! Concept is good and I like the theme! THe amazing part of the wall is how u blended all the stocks perfectly to create a 'paintlike' background, very still and calm! I simple love it! The ue of textures is perfect too and I like how u made the water! Text is fine with me and I love the blending of the light, jsut awesome! Scan fits in well and everything fits wonderfully! The water reflection on the rocks is probably my most favorite. And the whole wall itself looks so serene. So I'll just fave it. Great job.

The re-CGed water is really nice. the lighting effects are great and i like how the whole waller has a smooth texture to it. I love how the overall wall captures a sense of calm and it's easy on the eyes. Awesome stuff. Definitely a fave.

Wow, I think you outdid yourself on this one. I like the moody ambience and the way everything looks like it belongs. Awesome work!!

Yeah I must say I think the hawk-like birdy is a nice touch. other than that I can't help but feel a tiny bit disappointed in how you had some technical difficulties w/ this image. Kickass.. plenty of layers but on the inverse I simply feel that my older P4 would be able to handle this. This is part of the reason why Photoshop bitches about having it's scrachdisk file on the same physical drive as your Windows pagefile/swapfile when you open it for the first time after installing it. Usually this is pretty insignificant however you probably would've saw a performance improvement otherwise.

On the other hand.. for all I know about this particular image it could've caused issues on everything from high performance PC to decent and better macs. nonetheless this is the second time in two weeks I heard someone whine or say something(yeah whine isnt a cool word -_- so apologies if the use is wrong) about their computer not being able to handle massive amounts of layers with ease. Dammit all to hell I just think that any seasone photoshop expert should be able to overcome that sort of obstacle as well. Well g'day and congradulations. I guess you could say despite overwhelming lag or whatever you still finished it. A lot of people work like that but I could never stand for it lol....

Just had to comment on what a spectacular job you did on your wallpaper. The whole entire feel of it, it is amazing.

That is sad that you had some trouble with your program. My program was totally lagging on me, due to me using just a whole bunch of textures and many other pictures and blending them together. You got so lucky, though. At least your program didn't decide to crash on you when you were trying to save the file. My original file totally got ruined and I couldn't recover it.

Oh and I just like mayang.com/textures. A great site to go to for textures.

Well enough of me gabbing. Great job on it. I couldn't really say anything bad about it.

Like the look and feel of the forest, haven't really heard of the series before though. The darkness is a little to much but not overbearing, goodjob all around on this one.

Your first wall?? Is it really your wall? Sorry to question you like this. But if this is your original wall, then I have to say that your wall idea is great. But your finishing really bad. The extraction really bad! In a thumbnail mode, your wall is great but in full mode, you can see how bad it is. Don't be mad but you need to fix it.

It really gives a relaxing feeling as you say. I couldn't understand that you used actual photos thanks to your skills. It's not too greeny, don't worry. The text doesn't fit really well, but at least it doesn't ruin it.

haha i sort of want to see what wall you went up against that puppychow16 made. anyway your wall barely appears as green on my laptop so it's all good (on my laptop it's pretty dark and forest-y green so no worries there). the only thing that glares out at me from the wallpaper is the word 'breeze' ..for me it kind of interrupts that serene mood that the rest of the wall creates. although im not sure if that was what you were referring to, that you were attempting to remove the text anyway... besides that word, everything else is awesome. i havent seen puppychow16's wall, but it looks like you rightfully won :) you sound worried about your paper, but it's great. thanks for the wall!

Oh very nice work. The character is very well integrate in the cg. (the fact that herb are in front of his leg, the crow is also very well integrate). And the colors of the bg are very nice and in harmony with the character scan. Very dark but also an impression of harmony, dark but also peacefull. And the tori in the back it's huge it gives a good depth. (and hourra for the water effect i love that).
