Lovely colors and a lovely picture (even if he looks really strange with his other leg out of sight). I especially liked the mixing of different shades of red as well as the texturing around him. I'll definitely download it, even if I'll have to see how long I can stand looking at the missing leg... ^^;;;;

Lovely composition, colours and background design. Great scan choice but something about it that makes me think it could be blended better with the background - can't put my finger on it .. Could be to do with sharpness/colour balance contrast between foreground and background elements - not sure .. Still, awesome wall - looking forward to your next one!

The background (floral pattern) suit his elegance, though I think a color other than white might've suited the the space surrounding him better. O'course, since I haven't made any papers of my own, feel free to ignore me. :)

I find this composition very intriguing and I am unsure of what effect you were going for, exactly with the white. It reminds me of snow, or maybe an embrodered Victorian placemat?

I just love this image of hagi. He looks so pretty and sad. But then again aren't all bishies usually riled with angst.? I think you did a great job with the background, it really fits well with the image. I love the flowers to, they are well placed so as not to distract from the main image. I really love it! You said the original scan was of bad quality, but you seem to have made the best of it as it doesn't show at all in the finished wallpaper. The bg really fits the scan, the colours are esp. nice.

One of my freinds on Deviantart posted a screen shot of their desktop showing off this wallpaper and I begged them to tell me where they found it. I'm so glad they gave me the link. I just love it! I hope to post some of my own wallpapers but after reading the FAQ I think they may be too lame. I ususally use a nice sharp screenshot with a pretty tiled background. Perhaps it's time to find a "Photoshop for Dummies book". Or a good tutorial :D

Ah, I love this wallpaper. Maybe you could have integrated the scan into the background a little more, overlay some brushes or something but the text is really well done and the overall theme caught my eye immediately.
