Serial Experiments Lain [LAIN] URBAN LONELINESS

recently i discovered/realised i'm lacking lain wallpapers....and i thought, well, i hope someone will make one soon! (cuz i don't feel like making one now...) and someone has made it! woohoo! ok, seriously, this is one really nice wallpaper - dark and grungy, without pink, sparkling things XD nifty!

The dark feeling just gives me the chill's, or maybe it's just Lain.... who knows Anyhow, the use of texturing and filtering worked out pretty well! N ot much to edit (not much to see either with all that black =P, j/k) i guess, nah well, the background could have been a bit lighter so you see more in it, but I'm ant*******again so don't mind me

Like the darkness of the wallie ^^ The background is really cool and suits Lain really well, the whole darkness of the wall suits Lain nicely ^o^ Usually wouldn't like noise on scans XP But I pretty much love it on this one! (psst...we'll meet around back and discuss how we'll take her down...) anyways, i loved the overall feel of simplicity without there actually being any simplicity at all. you and gat nailed the feel of lain completely which is really the factor that makes this wall stand out so well. and i know some people complained about the text, but i really like it. i think it really enhances that lonliness. nice job dias. and we'll take down the foundation xD

Man, this challenge really brought the best of everybody's creative juice in black and white! Absolutely love the dark/angsty/eerie feel of the wall. I like the subtle background elements - and they were all made from scratch? wow .. A tad too much glow on the text for my cuppa - but it's not that much of a big deal. Great wall - congrats!

Love the dark black and white theme.

I just noticed that a lot of Lain wallpapers are usually in black and white. It's very original. The features are very dark, but it should be lightened up a little bit. Nice black skin tones. Keep the work and effort up!

I think the character's nice...overall the wallpaper isnt too bad i guess.
