Nice perspective of the character for this wallpaper. I especially like how the font is placed, along with the water looking effect to it. Big fish, little fish, turtles and a sea monster. Nice job on cleaning this to make it look watercolored and a calm tone of blue. A nice and clean job.

Wow this is absolutely beautiful - love the sense of underwater movements and fish dynamics etc. Without seeing the original scan I can't tell how much of this is your own original concept or if it's just a touched up scan, but regardless I love underwater shots and I'll fav this one.

I've said it before and i will say it again. I love the way the softness of the colours and the texture adds in a soothing underwater effect. I love the blurred image which really fits the blurred vision underwater. It's simply a beautiful piece of work. Awesome wallie as always tama.

Man, I started vectoring this picture a long time ago. It was going to one of 'CRAZY EXPERIMENTAL' craps. The image itself makes a fantastic wallpaper, so I can understand not doing much to it. Good job on cleaning it up. And the colour edit works alot better for a wallpaper.

I've always loved the fact that you do amazing wallpapers for obscure series. First, Kino's Journey, and now Mushishi. :)

You must have done quite a lot of work from that scan and I must say that it was excellent work. I like the texture of the wallpaper and the "blueness" of it all. Its actually cool that you chose this scan because the perspective really is unique. Mushishi <3 definitely a fave.

Ahh, Mushishi! Yes, one of those (it seems) little heard about anime. This really really does feel like the show. I think its great. My only thought might be that I would like to see a little more color shine through the water, but I really do like it just the way it is.

I have never seen the series or anything but this undescribable wall caught my attention. To put my thoughts into words will be very hard but here's a start, WOW! This wall has everything, great colors, a magnificant background, the color blue, beautiful artwork, and much more, I could keep on going. I like the scene and the way you brushed everything to mix and blend it perfectly. You sure did a great job cleaning the scan and recoloring it. The texturing you did is also perfect. Overall this wall is excellent and very worthy of praise! ^____^

Mushishi is one of my favorite anime, but it seems difficult for many artists to capture the essence of Mushishi in the way that i personally like it. But on this wall, it seems to portray the beautiful laidback calm that makes me enjoy mushishi so much. This wall is freakin awesome

OK, Mushishi has got to be one of my favourite anime of all time, so I'm glad there are several walls of it. This one is especially beautiful & unique (due to the wonderful perspective). I love the colours (soft & not glaring at all), and just... OK this wallpaper deserves a favourite and more. :D

This wallpaper really amazed me! I was pretty startled by the dragon?? swimming in the pool but this wallpaper's really one nice piece of work.

This certainly has a very mystical feeling to it, very surreal as well. I love Mushishi because of that and its original stories. It really makes you feel at peace and your manipulation of the original image really preserved the serene feeling.

I love the colors. They make me think of one of those Chinese vases in all blue and white. Just the tail of the creature makes me wonder what else is down there.

Love the perspective of the character in this wallpaper. I like the text placement and the water colored effect you did on it. The various sea creatures especially sea serpent's tail, also your choice to give it calm tones of blue is without a doubt a great choice.

This wallpaper is absolutely astonishing! <3 I love the fact that it is all blue. The dark corner with the big fish really adds a sense of looming danger or something (I've never seen the anime or read the manga or anything). But really, the blue is a great touch. It really makes me feel like I'm in the ocean.

Before I read your explanation, I thought to myself, "what a great summer/fishing piece".

I life in florida, and no matter where I go we are always reminded how close we are to water regardless of our destination.

I think this one will fit beautifully onto a "water-childs" desktop.

Your papers never cease to impress me. You always seem to have the texture and color down pat.

I would not put it past you that you have a great foundation and knowledge of how colors represent emotion, and environment and how that can be expressed with great know how.

There's so much movement in this. The colours are vibrant as well, which I'm not sure how you pulled off given that this was an underwater scene. (Most scenes submerged in water = blue and blue and maybe a darker/lighter blue). I like how you executed this concept =D

OMG~!!! I LUV Musashi! the way you held on to the original paper-feeling of the scan was really well done although I think you could've made the letters a little bit more visible, altogether I really love it!

I especially like how the font is placed, along with the water looking effect to it. Big fish, little fish, turtles and a sea monster. I have to watch this anime very soon, characters are beautiful as your wallpaper. So I love you background Wow this is absolutely beautiful - love the sense of underwater movements and fish dynamics etc. but regardless I love underwater shots and I'll fav this one.

Drawing two world in one scene is very unique and creative. Simple colors and composition of fishes and turtles are very wonderful.
