LOL so you ditched the poor animal! evil. and you pimped Akari....what's that, *pimp my scan*? :p ok, seriously - this is really a great wallpaper, i love what you did with background - the painting part is perfect, and the way you changed the original scan - it's fancy, i say! XD well... yeah, it's a fav, woohoo! ^^

You really did an amazing job, with the re-drawing of her pose and clothes, and with the colouring as well!!! It look as if it was the original you just re-coloured!! I'm speechless.

VERY good wall - the Neo-Venice idea is awesome. My ONLY gripe is the posts in the water.. they look a bit fake and the shadows on the water foam doesn't look natural. With that being said, sweet job, especially on the sky island thing.

Wow... my friend just came back from Venice, and she showed me some pics, so I can definitely enjoy the wall to its fullest extent now XD I've tried re-drawing scans before, so the effort in this wall really stands out to me. That's one schnazzy wall :3

Very clean and beautiful wall! the vector is absolutely impeccable. for further response to how amazing I think the vector is, reread otakugaijin's capital letters shout ^. the background is very well suited and nicely done, very impressive since it's from scratch. the only thing that I can possibly say I'm not fully satisfied with is the water, more specifically, the ripples/shadow/foam "created" by the boat. but still people have got to <3 this wallpaper ^^

You surely have some great skills at walling, ShiNN. The vector work is perfect and I really like the light effect on the girl. Well done, sir! This image looks great, the presentation is clean and true. The "pimping" is a tad bright, but that's probably just my shiny screen, or the dark room I am hunched in. This manga is extraordinarily sweet, and you made this paper literally shine with that spirit. My wife got all bubbly when she saw it from a distance, and that takes quite a lot, I assure you. No point in getting to into detail about what I think about this wallpaper since about 3 pages worth has it covered pretty well already. Fantastic work on your complete re-creation of the scan. Amazing job on everything. The only thing I could say is the waves, foam, and ripples should be fixed up a little bit more. After that, then this wallpaper is just pure flawless. I can understand that it is your first, though. There is a first time for everything. ;)

I'm not familiar with Vector Graphics much but I do know the detailed work involved having done a little myself. Having said that, I am impressed, not just with your skills but also in the fact that there are more people who actually love ARIA as much as I do. Your vector is amazing. I couldn't tell from a professional digital artwork. I really like the way the thin outline fits into the scan (which is just traced rather than as individual shapes). exquisitely done. nice subtle glow to the girl. vectoring was well tuned. background was detailed. theres an overall shine to the wall that catches my eye. excellent. and the fact that u seamlessly added ur own artwork is a plus. the only flaw i see is the lack of shadow in the wooden posts. but other than that. no complaints.

The coloring is great, along with the background and the sky. The details are amazing like those on the wood pier. Only thing to improve would be the water, the ripples are lacking compared to the rest of the picture.

the unetliche sea in the background, beautiful Mäd on a small boat. This picture is like vacation. Not only the dissolution is good, which is still much better white dressed Mäd which from the picture stings out. The lock, the city and the clouds round the background still beautifully off. Only the Fli genes thing I cannot ortnen. But it looks simply mad.

I love the background (the sea and the coast and the thingy on the sky...) they are so well made that I thought you might have gotten it off a scan (but that's just me, don't take the offence if I accidentally offended you) The character looks very good as well, except that she looks a bit too bright and blurry..... Overall great wallpaper! Keep it up!

I like this wallpaper very much! The great choice of character art and matching background gives such a cheerful feeling. The positioning of the boat looks like she is very happy to take us out to sea on a wonderful trip. The lighting is quite bright, and seems a bit too strong on the character, which overhighlights her a bit, making the contrast a bit too high. But nevertheless, I really like your choice of background and character combination.

Wow...the idea of the scenic background is really cool~ Everything looks real and pretty enough - the dock, the houses, the kite and the horizon. Just the clouds...they look a little bit hard instead of fluffy XD And the water...they should gleam a little from the sunlight?? And the ripples look unnatural too.

But the vector you did was REALLY nice.

A breath of fresh air. This wallpaper feels like we're literally at the docks with her. You show some depth in the background. The background gives a nice level to the scan, which does not make the entire wallpaper flat. Also, I was surprised by the original scan because you made the scan looked like an actual image from an anime. It's very good and I hope you continue with the good work!!
