I remember parts of the poem, but not the poet himself (I'd assume it's a male, since they were predominate and the tone of the poem is said from the more masculinant voice), oh, are you in highschool or college? That poem seemed....like a primary school one :o (no attack on your intelligence, in foreign countries they do learn poems much later, so please don't be mad >3<) -no offence, again, but you're a tone freak xD -making the tree branches infront of your character abit LIGHTER, might've helped, it's too much contrast to the the wall, and it's clouding the focus of the character.

Mei nan zi! (for those who don't understand, this means something like 'beautiful young man. For example if you still aren't too sure, Brad Pitt can fall into this category.) Anyway, about the wallpaper, it's beautiful. I REALLY love it. It's very very distinctively Chinese lol. But it is very poetic, and really really gives me the same impression as classical chinese poems. It is also very classic, but in a slightly modern way. I really love this : ) . Wow I love it, though I would've been more happy if the background was your original work as opposed to scanning stock photos of ancient Chinese art. Though to tell the truth if you were to make something like old Chinese art it would probably take forever. However kudos to you for mixing two very different kind of styles into one general wallpaper.

I love the text! It looks so clean! I can't read it but who cares? i really like the warm colors and the slightly blotchy touch. It makes it look like a painting. I think the muted background is also very nice. The dark plant(?) in the front also looks very elegant. Good job!

very authentic-looking. i really don't know what those words mean but it goes together very well with the rest of the concept...aesthetically(is that the right spelling. ah, u know what i mean to say) the reeds in the front stand out a bit too much from the rest of the "painting" but otherwise....+fave from me!!~!!

Finally a wallpaper with chinese motives on.. i love it.

I really like this wall. The only thing I find off is that the poem doesn't really match the guy. The poem is about Yu Mei Ren, the Beauty Yu, who is female. The guy representing your gender, is male. It'd been nice if the poem was different, or the guy was a girl.

But definately a favourite in anycase. It's beautiful, colour, texture, feeling wise.
