Ikki Tousen Practice Session

i think the seperation of the background and the foreground characters is too drastic. meaning the textures make them seem pasted on :/ i'm sure this one will get lots of love for panty shots though. i like the idea a lot, and i think it's working, but it's about half way there. give it some more touches to make the background and the characters seem as one.

I agree with Kalicers...the characters look drastically different from the background, possibly because of the lack of the thick black lines in the background. I dunno, it just looks like a crappy fanservice wallpaper when I can see that you had a really good idea behind it ; 3; I hope that makes some sort of sense. Mostly I mean the idea's great and I like the background but the styles of background and foreground don't fit :x

This is pretty cool.... But yeah, Hakufu and Ryomou look differnt then the backround. Still real nice.

Totally love the excellent use of perspective to accentuate the motion of the characters. ^^

mhmm i don't think that there's a such big difference between the two styles.. o__o but you could have fixed some parts of the outlines.. =D anyway, i really like the perspective you used. it makes the wallpaper very lively! =D

Yay congrats for the win! I thought the scan choice and concept were most interesting about this wall - that you could make an upside down character look quite alright which fits the challenge perfectly. Not a fan for panty shots or ecchiness but I must say the perspective works well - lolz! Great job yo - congrats!! ^^

Whoa, this wall seems problematic. The perspective of the background was really a good idea, but it didn't carry out with the off texture from the scan. It's like you just pasted on their or something. Man, I know this is not you kind of work you been making, but I don't hate it. It's just if the background was a little more tune with the characters, then it would be a whole lot better or putting them in a area that really small to fight in or something. Improvement in this wall is highly suggest for me.

Like the concept, and the angle you're going for, although i dont think you really pulled it off as well as you could. The background shading, and in particular, the clouds just dont suit the character/mood/tonal properties. Feel free to upload more panty shots tho! haha

I like this paper. This fight was one of my favorites in the show adn I was pleased to see that a wallpaper was made from it. I think you did a good job on it!

It almost looks like the girl is standing on the ceiling performing the kick except of course for how gravity is influencing the scene.

Oh I love high kicking action wallpapers. ;) I don't know the others have a point, but I feel that it gives it the kind of fast-paced fighting that the show is known for, if you actualy take time to look away from the girls. I think it makes the girls stand out forceing them to be the main subject of the wall.

Well I have to say it is great though everyone has thier own taste.

Everything in this wallpaper is O.K, except the background. It makes it seem like the fight is located in a airplane, or some sort of observation deck. So it doesn't really go. But other than that, it pretty good.

Sweet! Hakufu and Ryomou having a raging battle practice session in the hallways. The tension, the action, the fan service. If you ask me, this may be the best wallpaper I've seen yet. Great job!

When I look at it I get the feeling Ryomou is going to fly out of the window if she pushes off Hakufu's leg. Meaning there isn't enough depth between the characters and the background. But it's a good concept though.
