Well first of all it's a fav (not surprised huh?) the let's talk about that wall it's just like a master paint we can see in museum (ever got the idea to expose your work at the Louvre?) hum... what to say more (other than: "Will you ever stop making so long description :p") well wish I could have a screen to seen it entirely (oh my!! the price... Rahxepon great wall....Ilike me so mcuh... I love the contrast of the warm orange reds and the purple. I am happy you decided to give the old look extension of the background, rather than the grunge look (which is kind of too cliché nowadays, still cool though). Every time I look at it, it reminds me of Michelangelo's other painting, about the creation of man. The colours and saturations look similar. Great wallpaper. I just happen to love RahXephon and this background is a great example of a creativity based off the anime. The texture gives it the feeling of a painting by one of the old Italian masters, really makes it stick out beyond the rest.

I've seen a lot of it looks like an old painting but I think it kinda looks like a mural painted on a wall or cement ground. I never seen any paintings with cracks like those in them. The wallpapers composition and color choice are great and I'm glad to see you decided not to mess it up with text.

Wow it just look like you've ripped this wallpaper from the wall of an museum And yes that's a good thing! I just love everything about this wall, the textures, the scan, the concept and the idea that it's stolen out of a museum XD Well... there's something I like less about the wall and that is the blood that the Angel coughs out. It just doesn't look natural (except from the fact that Angels don't excist in the first place... =P ) The blood is just place to low and the angle it's falling is wrong. But that is not the real problem; you hadn't have to put the blood there anyway, it's already clear that the Angel is suffering and dying when you just take a quick look at this wall. You got some skills girl, but realise that less CAN be more.

you know... out of all the wonderful papers that I see everyday on this website, this one is still my very favorite

It feels ancient, like an old painting. If that was the artist' approach, I think he was very successful. Not bad.

Beautiful. I love the picture you used, you did a good job of continuing the clouds in the background, and the cracked texture makes it look like you actually took a photo of an old fresco, it's that real. :)

The style of this wall/scan is awesome. I love the grainy/painted tapestry texture quality to it, and the colours are awesome.

I don't think I've seen a fresco-style wall before. It suits the image extremely well (it wouldn't have occurred to me to flip the image to create a "falling" angel). If I hadn't seen the original scan, I wouldn't have believed that you filled out the wing - you didn't have much to work from, did you. Really nice. I'm especially excited by the detailing on the "plaster" cracks. The realism of the degrading plaster and the crackle in the "paint" is... fantastic. That's just mind-boggling to me. Not too much, not too little, excellent balance between longer, deeper cracks and those that are newer and barely-there. Looks amazing not only on my widescreen monitor, but on the 15" laptop. Total fave and the system had better add it this time . Kudos!
