I think you should've thrown another character standing to the right. As it is right now the wall is kinda out of balance. Its awesome though, throw in a seriff based movie poster-ish title..and you have a winner. :3

I just watched episode 1 yesterday as well. ^_^ Im fan subbing later on today w00t. Not like it really needs it though. If you read the manga, its pretty much the same thing.

Very creepy! I love the over-all distorted look of the pice, how it's just a little bit out of foucus. It really portrays the feeling of DEATHNOTE.

Dude, you just inspired me to go and download the first episode of Death Note. I’m really digging the creepy, angry, powerful, don’t mess with me look that both characters express. The colors you chose are extremely appropriate for this piece; it gives it that real nice grainy look, thus, giving it a creepy aura. It does seem to be missing something, as MinstrelKnight mentioned a title and another character. I also think that the wallpaper would’ve looked fine with just both center characters. However, these are minor things and still enjoy the way the wallpaper came out. Thanks for sharing.

O_O Whoa. I noticed that on the thumbnail, there wasn't a third character but on the full view, there was. I didn't really like the third guy. He doesn't seem to blend in with the wall. He seems kinda out of place.

Anyway, you did a pretty good job. ^_~

That's better after Minstrel's advice! The wallpaper seems quite balanced now. However, I'm not really sure about the extraction and the blending of the characters into the background. The Shinigami looks nice like you featured it^^ keep up the hard work!

hm....from faraway it looks awesome...but if one look more carefully...

• the side character (dang, forgot that psychopath's name XD) looks pixelated on the edges
• Mello is....abit too transparent in comparison to that other guy
• the text is placed, though

personally, i think if you took out BOTH Mello and the other guy, leaving Raito and Ryuk there, it will be a much better wall.

I love how you've managed to make the wall look evil/angry without having it be completely dark, and I love how you've incorporated all 3 of Light's eventually enemies into the wall. Great job!

This is a great wall, Nice effects on the wall. At last a wall of great characters from Death Note. Although the background could've been a little more concrete, it's still good for a death note wall, dark and not too much detail.

Cool wall, I like the gritty tone. The backround seems to be missing a little something though, since the characters are "posing", I feel like there should be a message/saying/quote/picture they're posing for...

Very unique style. The grungy effects make this wall more dark and more addicting. The color choice really matches the scan and theme. That group scan is very neat. I liike it. It really satisfies me. Great work and this work deserves a fav from me.

A very Death Note feeling wallpaper. Something about the way Light is position with respect to the other characters gives me the feeling that he's somehow better than the others, which is kinda what Light feels. And Ryuk just looks cool.

Ok this has to be the most well structured and most thought provoking manga i have ever read it is almost perfect in everyway. and i love this wallpaper cause it's just so damn cool. if you think the anime is good(which it is) you should read the manga which is even better(unless you already have of course) but anyway i like this wall very much and thank you

Beautiful wallpaper! I really love the lighting in the background; it gives it a nice feel while still making it possible for me to see the icons on my desktop. The pic of Ryuk isn't my favorite, but the one you found of Mellow is beautiful. I hadn't seen it before now (I haven't finished the series yet), so that's what drew me to this in the first place.
