That's indeed a very nice wallpaper! I liked the background (the brushes and fan complete each other in design and colors). The scan is nice too, however, too bad that it does not seem a good quality vector (is it a vector?) It's just that the outlines seem to be pixelated and that it giving a bad effect on the scan in overall. Still, I loved the colors! Red is perfect in this kind of wallpapers ^_^ Thanks for sharing! keep up the hard work ^_^

ah, a beautiful wallpaper. it's pretty much all clean, it's cute in a way, and the colors are wonderful. =] it is very eye catching and the prints in the bg are very nice and work with the fan and the kimono designs. the texture on the fan makes it seem more like clothe and i guess gives this wall one of its dimensions, personally, i'm not hugely fond of how clear the line-kinda-pattern is in the bg. it's me yes, so basically, ignore that and nice work!

Nice extraction and choice of colors, but the bg is too filtered and bright for me. Maybe you can try adjusting the opacity of those criss-cross lines a bit so it won't be too blinding.

But I like the Asian feeling and effects. Nevertheless, it a pretty wallie.

I love the background you've used for this one, especially the fan. The picture of Shana seems a bit strange with it though, in terms of the art styles. Do you happen to have a 1280x1024 version of the wallpaper with just the background at all? If so, I'd like to use it. ^^

Very sexy, it's a cute scan but the sword at her hand reflects two mixed personalities. That it's a good color on the font, golden, red and yellow and the flowered back goes great with her kimono, it's cooland in other way glamorous. For me represents in part the spirit of a Geisha.

While the two recent Saber wallpapers were just awesome, this one is kinda more average. I don't like the sunset too much because the coloring seems a bit lifeless .. meaning it seems to be whitened too much. I also have the problem that the resolution is pretty low :S As to the "sense-making": walls often don't make sense - so this is all good. The blending of the foreground (Eclair) and the background kinda doesn't work well though... maybe you should have tried to reduce yourself to an enumaratable amount of colors ...

oo i like this one. i like the "traditional" look u went for. good scan choice. love the colors you used on her and the background. only think i dont really like is the mixture of the realistic fan. its a good addition, but it doesnt match because it looks realistic. never really like when pieces mix realist with anime..just looks kind of odd nevertheless its a really great piece

I'm not a big fan of text on wallpapers but if you are going to incorporate text, make it just as good as the rest of your wallpaper. Even simple effects like using a gradient fill or drop shadow make a big difference in how it looks. You have a lot of blue already so maybe try some other cool colors in the greens and see if you come up with something you like. Stay away from the warmer colors like yellows and reds as fill-colors for the text because they will clash with the cooler colors.

It lends some originality since most people don't bother with that. Too bad. Texture can add a lot to a wall. The fact that the girl looks cute doesn't hurt either. Simple yet visually interesting. I love the redness!!! The color theme for the wallpaper is so red (awesome). The position of the character and the fan is just right. It helps in keeping the eyes focus to the right. The character and the background color fit well with each other. The texture of the background and the fan is awesome, and they blend well with each other, too. But because of that, I keep seeing the character is not connected to the background. See how the character looks so smooth with the background texture is not? It's like a clash between traditional art (background) and modern anime style (character). But maybe it is a good way of making the character more appealing to viewer's eyes, like "keep the main thing the main thing". Overall, well done.
