Congratz on the new job man, about the wall, I like the renders, but the scan is just too low quality, plus I see a lot of parts been erased without much, well, I don't realy know, but it doesn't realy look all that good like that.

sexy! i love the subtle touch of 3d render...most people would make it too in-your-face, but you weaved it in nicely with the colours of the wall...

The effect is special, It gives me the impression that there is mixture between coat of paints, of colouring pencils and one I will say the normal image lol... But It does not prevent this wallpapeer from being very beautiful =)

You did a fabulous job on this wall I loev the chara and most of all I love the background,it just seems so different from the usual backgrounds where I saw this chara and of course the effects aroudn her and the clours match perfectly.I really love this abstract wall of yours and from what I see the chara is more colourful than in the scan where I saw her! Personally, I don't find the scan to be all that low res. And, I really like the effects.

My favorite kinds of wall are kinda dark ones, but with spiffy effects.

This one fills my needs quite nicely.

I like the back ground cause of the diferent colours that has been put into this and the colours blending in well with the pic. The girl in it I like a lot she looks cute and blends in well with the wall. The touch of a 3D effect is nice and it seems like there is also a touch of water based paint that ha went into it. Overall. great work. Keep up the excellent job.

Omni you might not be so good in vectoring.....but i'm still jealouse of yours skills for making wallpapers out of scans like that to without to vector them and also your useage of brushes and 3D grapfics(sp?)

unlike vectoring, i'm sure what you do takes a long time to learn.....vectoring is easy(well i readed alot of tutorials and never understodd a single of them.....since what i needed to know aas how you USE the vector tool not how you vector)

oh well i have some tutorials(if you want to try the one i learned it from just say it)

uh-oh. kalico comment? this is either a good or bad thing... well, in this case, not all bad. i like your concept, and composition. I think you could have pushed it further. One thing htat i find an issue with 3-d renders is lack of color theory lol. And this one is no different. You've got blues, purples, greens and yellows going on in the background, and blues purples and ornages in the scan. and the blues in the scan vs the blues in the wall, and purples in the scan vs the purples in the wall, don't go together with the addition of the yellow and the orange. i would suggest you really go in and adjust the colors. Get them the same hue, so if i squint, it doesn't look like someone threw up rainbows : / also, the quality of teh scan, as i'm sure you're aware of, just isn't good. i think the scan fits appropriatly, but since that pose isn't uncommon in anime, and you seem to have no real attachment to that SPECIFIC scan, you could have picked a better one from a different artist or series. It seems your concept was the key here. I don't think it's a bad wall at all, it just needs to be gone back to. And i really think you should, since this wall seems to be important to you. Like i told supermonchi on that wolf's rain wall... i may be only one comment versus the 74 or so other comments, but in a room full of a hundred in a critique, usually theres maybe one or 2 people being honest and trying to help you. The rest suck up or don't know what they're talking about : / Good luck omni. hope to see your other walls in this series :3 pay attention to color though <3

Anyway,I really love this wallpaper,it has a very fluild and vibrant feel,especially with the colouring giving a sort of pastel look to.I think you did a wonder job on the vector of the girl;she fits seamlessly and smoothly into the wallpaper ^-^.
