when I first saw this wall I had a sudden urge to go play some front mission. XD this wall is amazing, the stormy atmosphere you've created with the sky and sharp features of the mech all blend perfectly.

You never fail to please, Boing. It's amazing how you can get such good 3d perspective, with its lighting/shading and angles in just Photoshop. The sky is amazingly detailed as well. Simply love it.

Heh.... I bought this game off of ebay and just got it today, i only played it for like 10 mins but it was like the best game i've ever played. Well anyways... awesome wallpaper.

Best mecha wall ever!!! I'm more impressed with the ship design, shadding, modeling than the sky. The perspective and lighting is amazing. And the background tells another story compared to the foreground. So, much motion in this still wall. A lot of action in the scenery you don't know where to begin. Funny how the mecha is just 'chillin'. No one dare to mess with it so they go after little opponents, i.e. those airplanes in the background. Great work.

My only critique for the artist is that the ground is off-center with the mech's feet.:) :) It's obviously the base image pasted and edited over a background, but I'm just nitpicking. Steel battalion is a mecha franchise involving industrial machinery and backwater jungle islands, and this wallpaper tells the story in one frame.

This wall is made of awesome and win. As I read the featured wallpaper comment, I thought, "nah... it can't be THAT good." But it is. It has so much depth on every level. Even with all the color difficulties you have...this mech wallpaper came really cool...not to mention the colors of the background and that of the launch pad looking thing all fitt very well to thr robot...but also what caught my eye was the complex look this wall has.

Never seen such a cool and faint mech wallpaper like this one. The gray, white, and black colors blended together to cause this foggy, lonely theme is very nicely done. The mech is well blended into the background of buildings, that I couldn't recognize the robot at firt glance. Keep up this work and effort, SirBoingal0t!

Very striking wallpaper yet it`s not a mess ( say lots of color gradients mix mashed ) but remains in a passive overal color tone wich is accompanied by some great lighting . Very well executed . and the detailing is just downright impressive , this is without a doubt a favorite of mine .

If this wall was a weapon...I'd be dead! Man, the quality of your CG...it's astonishing! The the perspective, the color, the smoothness...BEUATIFUL!! The only flaw I saw in this was that I couldn't tell there was any water at all due to the color of it. It looked alot like the metal ship thingy ma jig in the front, but that's it

I m not a techa fans really, but i could sense the beauty of this wall. with the grey sky and the cloud, brighted the yellow brand of the machine; the author didn't give the machine a human-like body, with reasonable stronger legs and specified-usage arms, there maybe not a human driver with-in . fight as a tool, just cooly watching humanbeings move ahead to the tombs of their race, step by step....

usually i'm a fan of mechas that are proportional (in this case, gundams), but this is a real nice mecha-- it's set in a cool landscape and it fits in the pic....real nice

The wallpaper speaks for itself. The only thing that bugs me about the whole wall is that the ground where the mech is standing seems kinda plain compared to the mech itself. The sky and the mech seem to be the work of an expect who's been creating wallpaper for years.

Looks cool. However, the gundam kinda blends in the the buildings too much

I don't know what « steel bataillon » can be and if the thing is any good but it seems to have nice meca design at least. #.(n_n) I like the background but the front part is a little to plain to me. Well it looks metallic, but it also supposed to be big isn't it? (if you compare to the meca) So I think I was waiting for more details here. Well, overall it is a really nice piece of work, indeed. Awesome. This is really quite something. I really like how a battle is still raging in the background. I also like the effects of the battle. The sky around the area is darkened, in which it compliments the dreary wartorn landscape. That only takes up minimal space on the background, as the more visible sleek technology really gives the mecha a slight 3D effect. Very impressive. Great job~

I definitely love robots! i watch a lot of gundam and other mecha related animes. This wallpaper is way beyond cool as it is very detailed and background is awesome. It really give the feel of being on a battlefield. Definitely one of my favorites

Woah... This is...so realistic, I haven't seen a mecha wall in a while and this almost completely blew me away. I love the little details such as the storm and planes...

very clean shape, cutting edge.... the hue of the entire image is grey and this create an atmosphere of mecha ,or say, warfare.
