the scan doesn't blend really well with the back. It's too soft and blured and the back is grungy and rough.

Apart from that it's a really nice wall. Even if you take out the scan u have created a wonderful back, and that needs Skillz. Good work

i would seriously put the scan under the grungy texture or somtin. Cos the vector looks great, adn the bg looks reat as well, but together this way they dont look at all. But if you make the vector with more grungy addings, and add some texture. Maybe even lighten it up a little, itll look much beter. Anyways nice try. the bg looks very UWSOm thought i love that. Please do what you can, you can make a great wall out of this! ^~ ~Anime11~

i agree with MinstrelKnight; i quite love this wall. the vector could use a LITTLE work on the curves, but a very cool wall. would be afave if the vector was under the texturing though - it'd add a sense of unity to the wall.

Awesome, the color scheme works so well on this piece and you managed to keep it fairly consistent with the original scan in that category. The textures, while creating plenty of "noise" do so in a manner that does not detract from the quality of this piece (maybe that's because the vector is on top of the brushes, but I do not believe the wall is any less aesthetically pleasing because of it).

Extra bonus for offering wide-screen resolution right off the bat, thanks + favorite!

I love this scan of Haruka. I think she would have looked better under the textures too. But then the contrast of it not having a texture is also neat. I love the colors. The leaves and flowers give it a good touch too. Awesome job on this wall.

I've always loved this image. You did a great job with this wall, but I do agree that the vector should be underneath the texture. Also, there's a par tI would smooth out on her right shoulder, right before it meets the shirt. The angle's a bit to much for me. But I still think you did a great job on this wall. Keep up the good work!

U surprised me once again Sue ^_^. When i saw this, it instantly reminded me of ur "Postcard #4" wall but this is more than just an amazement. Texture work, can't complain cause i love it but the vector lines over the body could be improved just a tar bit more. Enough talk, gonna fav it *DONE!*

nice work, i like the serene feeling i get when i look at it. i agree that the chara would've looked better under the texture but i suppose that's all a matter of taste. my only other issue with your wall is the shading on your chara. it looks like there's a sun setting behind her yet you have a moon in front of her....she should be lighter in the front and darker in the back and red/orange shouldn't have been used...that or it shouldn't have been a night scene for her...

Awesome FLCL wallpaper! I'm pretty sure I've seen this scan before, wayy back when. Ehh o well. Great job on the vectoring and textures. Although I would fix the scan so that it'd blend in a bit more with the background.

Man this paper is great! I love the simple vector image with the gradient overlay that brings out the different areas of the character. All of the colors work together very nicely. Way to go!

This has so much energy and visual interest! The textures are great, the words (although not enhancing) don't detract from the wall as a whole, all sorts of different styles are used.

the hair is what did it for me. that is some awesome hair. too bad she didnt have it in the anime. the moon is cool too.

Love the warm feel to this wall, I think if the city was maybe a real small distant skyline or just city lights may have worked. I do dig the colors it's a very hearty feel.

I really like the texture you decided to put in this wall. I'm not quite sure if I get the insert of the leaves or the text of 'Dreaming through the noise', unless I visualize what's happening in the series when Haruko is standing like this. Still...I didn't think it matched the rest of the wall. What you did to the image of Haruko is interesting - I like it. It must have certainly taken time.

It's a great wall, but I do feel like too much is going on. (The moon, too! I guess I just don't understand how everything fits together).

I love the soothing colored gradients in this wallpaper! I think the texture could've been smoothed out a bit to be in line with the character but I'm not an experienced critic in any way... So I'm just gonna enjoy having this as my desktop :D

I really love the textures you've chosen to go with here. the background is really beautiful, but the leaves don't really seem to work for me, just kind of floating there. i think, personally, that if you went with foliage it might help to ground it a little. but, who knows. it's so difficult to tell.
