FULL VIEW PLEASE! I'll admit, the first time I saw Nausicaa, I feel asleep. Seriously. It was really late, the next day we were driving to Baltimore for otakon, and I was sick; the movie just wasn't enjoyable for me. Though, my girlfriend loves it, and it's her birthday on the 10th, so for a birthday present (besides some other tricks up my sleeve) i created this wallie for her.
When I saw the scan, It was very sketchy, but had a very bad-ass background, and for the wallie i decided to completely redo the background and make it a fire orgy of flames and sparks etc. I made it widescreen so It would fit my girlfriend's computer's dimensions.
I really like the way this came out, and I hope it is a good enough wallpaper for my sweetie. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MANDA!!!! <3

It's a very nice flame effect, but I'm not sure nausicaa herself, being a sort of earth-mother type figure, really says flames to me :D.

Such a burning picture... the whole background was made from fire... :-) Maybe even a bit much fire. The character is good, anyway, nice wallpaper.

*pushes glasses up* Wow! Great effects and nice text work. If this had been Shana or a "flame" character, this would be faved outright and probably be on my desktop. Great job, though! I'm gonna keep an eye on your work!

Not that the effects don't look absolutely killer , but I don't think the flame theme cooridinates with Nausicaa all that well but other than that I think you did a great job!

If the scan was better quality the wall would be a hell lot better. Awesome job on the flames and the hot coals or whatever they are on the bg. Keep up the good work +favs

omg what a wonderful wall. This is friggn great. I like the fire effects. The words are really hard to read though. I think it would be better if you fine tuned the color of the words or just have taken them out entirely. But other than that zomg 0.o goodness lol.

the fire effect is cool, but its a little too plain for me. i'm pretty sure with those skills, you'd come up with something really big in no time.

you really seem to be very angry to design such a briliant fire, cause you really made it look completely real, great job in doing it, i think i need to learn how to do this sort of effects its really nice, well looking forward to see your work.
