I really like this wall. I like how you've made it look like a really old picture. The colours you chose are good for that old fashioned look. Good job.

I think it would look better without the tonage... but I like the old fashioned paper look which I've tried and failed to achieve. To really make it look like an old parchment maybe you should bleach the black lines to brown/sepia. Overall, I like it. :)

nice wall :D although i'm not a huge fan of the halftones. i would rather see it without them also. love the choice of image, and the old paper feel. nice work on that.

This is a good wall, but I really prefer the character designs from the anime so I find it a little wierd. (But that is just me).

I agree about the wallpaper probably looking better without the halftones. And the background looks too simple, I think. More textures, maybe? :)

A really great example of "simplicity is best" I've seen far too many people go spastic with layers and textures, and the image ends up being to busy and, ultimately, not that great. But this, while "simple" is absolutely gorgeous. Wonderful job.

Very pretty simplistic wall, nicely done. My only complaint (besides what everyone else said) is it looks kind of pixelated, like you didn't save it at 100%.

That's such a beautiful image you chose, and you did a great job with it! The worn out effect achieves wonders here, especially with the delicate colour scale you worked with. I too think I would like a version without the halftones (if you still feel like doing it someday ;) ), however it's still such a gorgeous wall... I love the dynamic of it, with the great sweeping movement of Anthy grabbing and kissing Utena. Very pretty indeed.

I like especially how all this just fell together. The old scroll picture effect really succeeds in spite of its being obviously a printed image. Maybe you could say it looks like an image from an early printed colour picture book!

Since techincally, conceptually, aesthetically, and practically this succeeds as a wallpaper, I simply have to add it to my favourites.
