Full view, please This was submitted sometime ago on MT, so everything here is in the past tense XD
Where to start... well, I was looking through my notifs last week or so, and the word "Kadaj" caught my attention. And seeing it was submitted from Madoshikurefu, I figure it was a scan. And what a cool scan! I immediately saved it and decided I wanted to wall it.
Well, I had extracted it and was trying to get rid of the white box-like things on his suit when the insane idea of vectoring Kadaj came to me. This is the first time I've vectored a computer-generated person, so I was a little nervous about screwing up the image.
After around 7-8 hours (6 of those were trying to get his hair to work), I completed what I called "Part A" of the vector: 
After that, it was just trying to get some color into his hair (Or "Part B": 
Anywho, the wall was basically me trying out a "Grayserg technique" though obviously, I failed :/ But I still love the way it came out. As for the title, well, if you've seen FFAC, you know what it means.
Time: 7-8 hours for the vector, 10-12 hours for the actual wall OX Layers: I never count the layer for my vectors, 35 for the wall

It's neat, but the white stuff seems to be overkill :3 And I liked it better before you added the starkly contrasting colors in the hair ; 3; You should make a version with less of the white flourishes and without the pink and green colors, or at least less bright ones <3

i'm not so sure about the white ghosty hand, but the effects on her hair i liked a lot, as well the brushes on the left corner!
the contrast between the colors made it great too... very cool!

the attempt is very very nice, and it seems that you almost have it, but it's just a bit messy/disorganized overall. and I agree with misu on the white part. and tone down the pink/green contrast a little.

Amazing!! When I first saw the thumbnail I wasn't too impressed but when I saw you vectored Kadaj I ken I had to see it full view!
Great vectoring you did a fantastic job. The hand looks great too. I have to admit I prefer the more toned down version. I think it's alot more subtle but the bright version is awesome too.
Brilliant work, I'm gonna fave it because I love it! Keep up the hard work and I'm gonna keep my eyes peeled for more vectored computer game characters *hint, hint* ^_~

Don't worry, the result definitely paid off. It looks absolutely magnificent and as graceful as the original pose/expression in that killer scan, though I find the hand and the abstract bg stuff rather distracting and I think personally I would settle with just him and all that stuff set on a very very soft transparency on the background. That way leaves more space on my short attention span adoring the badass uber-bishie supercoolness vector.

The scan you picked is from one of my favorite scenes of that movie. ^_^ I really loved how hard Kadaj and the others were looking for their mother, albeit she is a terrible being. I like the dedication you put into this wallpaper. It's beautiful.

Holy damn! O_O I find superb in this wall!!! I gotta say that this one truly rocks! It really shows Kadaj's dream of that 'mother' that he spoke in Advent Children. At least that is how I get that wallpaper. The effects are cool, and that hand! Wooow!! The idea is great, reeeaaalyy great! Love it! xD xD xD My favorite!

Okay, so I read a lot of people don't like the hand, but if you've seen the movie, then I can't see how you wouldn't think it was appropriate. 0.o
Kadaj is my favorite from Advent Children, and I'm so glad you did this pretty wall. The hair's definitely strange, but so is Kadaj, so they go together well!
And I have to say, I am *majorly* impressed with your vectoring skills. **blink** Wow...

What an amazing wall. You really did a great number on the scan, the bg with the lovingly embracing hands around his face (yes I can't remember his face,*5 lashes*) is amazing. It seems like you really went through alot of trouble, and it shows.

I think this was my favorite part of the movie. (Well one of the favorites) It was the moment where Kadaj just wasn't being all evil and stuff, but actually seemed really innocent. Gave more dimension to his character!
But I didn't know you vectored it! He has such depth to him, it almost looks like a recreation of him in some 3D program or something! I love the rainbow effect on his hair and his expression. It, combined with the hand perfectly captures the moment.

I like the choice of colours, it reminds me of the materia Kadaj uses ;P so it fits his personality hehe. It may have been better without the white...ray? brush? eeehm, the shite thing that covers part of his fave :)

Very skilful vectoring what you provided here,my compliment. But in my opinion it could be better without the bright hand or at least put it to the opposite side, leaving his face to full-view. Such a face would deserve it, nope?
