Saiyuki to the west

I like the dark concept, with the sunset sky that looks red. The effect is cool too. Hmmmm .... I think maybe it's better if you use colours on the character although I like it. Good job.

This looks really nice. I love the dark silhouettes, theyre awesome. The background looks too painted though, and I think it would look better if it were smoother.

Ooooh, Saiyuki! ^___^ I know this is an old wallpaper, but if you still want to change it, you might want to make the background appear less filtered. Also, it would be nice if you could make the text less blurry.

I agree the conceot of this wall is good. Test is a little blurry. I like the sunset though. The dark charasters is a nice effect.

I love the dark feeling. Probably the first dark wall that doesn't feel sad to me :P I don't like what you did to the clouds though.

i like it alot! great job with the concept. like some other people mentioned, the background looks a little heavy, some tweaking would make it look better. instead of a blur effect for the words, why not make it look a little rough to fit your background?

a little bit too much black at the bottom. imho it'd be better if they fade-to-black portion at the bottom started a little bit lower. it's because goku's and sanzo's legs feel a little bit cut off as the fade-to-black portion starts.

1280x1024 resolution would be great as well :) spacing out the thing so that you have a little bit space on the left for the usual icons would suit the average user; iconless desktops like mine are ok with it though.

What a pretty sunset wall! Saiyuki's not my favorite thing in the world, but it works really well with pretty stock photos. ^_^

I love the concept behind this wp. I do feel that it's a bit blurry, but the overall effect seems to overide it.

I love the original picture and I like what you did with it. Conceptually nice with the whole "heading west" thing that's a constant in the series. The lighting on the character you did to match the sunset background works really well. And I like how the text stands out in the corner in white. I love the horizon photo you chose.

The stock photo really blends with the silhouettes of the characters... Nice wall... Clean and simple...

i really like the shading in this wallpaper it works reallly nicely with the deep orange background. the clouds in the sky look a little strange maybe they should blend together more instead of being so distinct but other then that it is a very nicely done wallpaper plus i love saiyuki so u get bonus points.

Really Nice, you did the characters pretty well. Although its a shame I can't see Sanzo properly, T_T I like the background, It fits the scan being used. Still, it looks like it needs to be blurred just a little, and text would be cool if it were not too blurry.

Pretty good... :) That's a nice style you used... and the shading on the outlines is great (portrays sunset/twilight well)... Not a real pain for the eyes when viewed together with the icons...

This is a perfect tribute to Saiyuki! I love the fiery sunset. It fits the turmoil and action that is this awesome series.
