the wallpaper is nicley done for ur first time but i think u shoulda made the wallpaper a little more exciting since its for the anime The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya whice has alot of excitment (own personal opiinion) other than that i really like the way u used black and white to make the wallpaper i also like the scan you used for the wallpaper and how u used the H as sorta a wall for kyon but it looks really weird that theres orange on haruhi's head lol seems so random t doesnt really mix in with the black and white and grey lol great work on the wallpaper keep it up!!

this wall is freakin great, awesome concept, awesome composition and really impressive simplicity. but damn i hate when a wall is one step from perfection, which in this case could be easily achieved, just by doing it.. 'proper' ;] the H is one pixel short on the right [look at the reflection], moreover if you have vectored the scan, including those light gradients, and then making her orange ribbon, all would look more crisp, more.. amazing. but still, nice. as for a first one, amazing. it's rare to have such first ones. but please, next time take time to make it as perfect as you can ;] you have skills, now just add some patience ;]

lol I thought this was so funny when i first saw it, wasnt exactly sure what was going on untill i saw the larger version. But when i saw it, it was very nicely done i like the semi reflective background under them that added alot then just a pure black background and the shadowing on the two of them was nicely done. Oh my gosh... THis is imposible, THat is your first submission!? In my opinion, it looks close to a Pro. EXelent concept, almost perfect execution. Only one thing. I UNderstand why you let the "red H" both in "THe MElancholy of SUzumiya H Aruhi" and in your signature, but, if you are going to use THat style, the red should be the only one color in THe whole work. THis for being able to say anithing diferent from PUppychow and the others. Still a +fav.

I like how you made Haruhi's head ribbon and Kyon's tie stand out. The only thing that bugs me is Haruhi's leg. It looks just too unrealistically straight because even if it is resting on a floor, it's physically impossible to look that straight. Besides that, you did a really nice job!

An excellent wall. I would call it near perfection. Four small but standout colors draw your eyes to the characters. And you can read the expressions in many different ways, much as you can the body language. You realize a new meaning each time you look at it. A simple, elegant wall in a complicated layout to be appreciated.

Since I generally prefer clean, well-balanced wallpapers (some might want to call them simplistic) too "overladen with effects", this wall doubtlessly matches my taste. Yes, the show might be very exciting, but that doesn't force you to make an "exciting", dynamic wall. Sometimes, it's all about creating a contrast; and I think you did a pretty good job here for starters. Keep going^^

The color in her hair makes my eyes flow to the tie, and then the red H..I think it all works together very well. Awesome job! I don't know anything about this series, and this wall makes me want all of it -right now-.

I'm a sucker for minimalistic wallpapers, and wallpapers with black backgrounds. This is probably the best wall I have seen in a while. That it's a Haruhi wall is even better.

The fact that it's offered in the 1600x1200res is also great. The one thing I did notice is, the H kinda seems to cut into Kyon's back a bit. Or rather, his back seems to slightly go into the H. A pixel or two off, perhaps.

Aside from that, well done.

When you look at the thumbnail, you think it's intimate but in full view they look like they battlin eachothr. I like those kinds of scans, ones where they are not always what they seem...makes the wall interesting. The simplicity of the black background and the idea to have the characters lean on the solid 'H' is great. AND you've got the refelctions spot on. WOW. Not bad for your first wallpaper. The wallpaper is really crisp and clean. The black is totally a nice background colour to what your trying to accomplish. Plus I really love the "H" in the middle of the wallpaper. The scan you've chosen is also a great choice. From my perspective, suzumiya is trying to force kyon to remember that H stands for, Haruhi Suzumiya. Well, from what I think. Hehe.

This particular wallpaper very successfully balances the elegance of simplicity and complexion in the design. The characters are very well placed and schemed to the overall colors and they don't overpower the rest of the wallpaper with overly complex detail. Also, the layout of the entire piece is very effective in the way that it leaves plenty of space for icons while not being too dull. I really think this wallpaper worth noting for it's excellence. Definitely going into the favorites.

This is very impressive for being your first wallpaper. Concept-wise, It captures a different side of the relationship between Kyon and Suzumiya. Composition-wise, very nice use of color on an otherwise B&W background. Very minimalistic but effective.

Nicely done. It has a simple yet sophisticated feel. Somewhat like an advertisement for cologne or clothes or something along those lines. If the SoS Brigade decides to market in that area, I'm sure they'll take the idea from this wall. The black and white as primary colors and Haruhi's signature yellow ribbon and Kyon's red tie is a nice touch.

The most I like about this wall is your signature on the bottom. It blends right into the wallpaper unlike most others who have their info down. I know its an important to mark it to avoid stealing, but it kinda ruins the wall. Atleast with yours it fits right in. Probably why I think it feels like one of those advertisements for a cologne or perfume.

Or could signify the fact that Haruhi and Kyon share some mental link. She can read him like paper.

I guess if I was in Kyon's position with Haruhi straddling me, I would have a smirk on my face too.

A quick glance of a small thumb nail, it looks like a sylized "H2" and so I was thinking of the baseball manga.

I've got a number of friends interested in the show after explaining to the background of this wallpaper to them.

It's also one of the few wallpapers to capture that interaction between these two characters that's in the background and you know one day is going to really come out.

That is awesome. I love the reflection thing, its very i dunno Apple? hehe and the black and white thing with them by the H is cool. Also the part where only a small part of her is highlighted is a nice touch. Very nice.

I'd rather fairly often be the boy of this wallpaper but the real is so different because it is imposible to find a girl like her, she's the one!!! I think its very dificult find a background better than this! About the shadows of the cople is not a light shadow In my opinion, It's work for stand out the kiss that are going to continue in the next scene!! Good JoB!!!

Very nice paper ! I just recently discovered The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya and I must say this is by far the best Haruhi paper. Very stylish, no complains.

wow an black and white? i never expect to see Haruhi in Black and white before, because her image is so shiny, but you have done a good point on let her ribbon as yellow and the letter H for Red. Perfect! no matter you put it intensionally or not. You have gift, keep it up!
