The texture of the shading/coloring is very nice :) The choice of what part of the scan to cap off at was also good (amount of face included is excellent), though it annoys me slightly it cuts off right after the torso ^^;;

Since a reflection effect is given to 'Odi Et Amo' i felt that it should have been in a different shade compared to the top, perhaps lighter to make the phrase stand out more compared to the other text?

Lastly i wished the dark wing could have been made somewhat lighter because i have a hard time distinguishing it from the background brown/red... perhaps a gray (light or dark) outline would have been an interesting contrast to the white wing black outline~

Anyways, goes without saying that this is way better than anything i can (or will be able to? ._.) do. Good job.

I like it. Although my only problem is that the feather (amo) is too dark I can't see it clearly but I really want to. The shines should be a tiny bit lighter. Other than that I love it, the mood is great the colors and textures look nice! Great job, always love to see your walls =D And you reminded me: I should learn some latin =/ Well see your walls next year (I can't wait till the green lady arrives =D) Cee ya!

I like the light and dark concept of the wall. The texture is present but it isn't to sharp or distracting to the eye. I just have to say the quality is the best I've seen in some of the recent wallpapers, nice work.

This is just such an interesting wallpaper. I like the asymetrically colored wings - which is one of the primary attractions. Combined with that 'over-the-shoulder' gaze and semi-bare back.... very tasteful.

Well, it mght be the most original AMG wallpaper I've ever seen ^^ Good idea with love and hate, and also I personaly like dark and "simple" wallpapers.

She looks so much like Belldandy just with a black wing. Only when i saw the scan i realised it's Urd. Good job for the coloring. Looks as if it was already in color. And it gave the whole thing this mysterious feeling, as if she was hurting regretting something: like Belldandy getting a black wing for some crime and now, a stained angel is recalling about the past.

Ooh, nice work with the grunge... really nice use of colors to make a striking composition work together! I really like your grungy style, makes for walls that look great on my desktop. I actually disagree with phoenix, I think the text could be a bit more subtle, particularly the long line of text x) Also I haven't watched AMG, but is there any particular significance to the cracked-earth looking texture overlaying her skin? It definitely creates an interesting, unsettling sort of feel.

When I saw the thumb, I couldn't see what it was, but Ah My Goddess was the category that I thought of when I saw it much more clearly. And if I could remember, the scan isn't colored; more like charcoal shaded. So the fact that you vectored colored it is a definite WOW. And I love the textures, plus the mixture of red and black. Totally reflects the title well.

What a surprise, I've been studying Latin for 2 years n_n The wall is very good, as someone said above, it's different because all the walls from this serie are cheerful and happy. The only problem is that the left wing is too dark and it can't be seen.

It's not very colorful, and I think you should make it brighter. Moreover, the background color make me can hardly recognise the black wing. Actually, that's a cute idea of coloring the hair to make it look like Belldandy. Until I saw the scan, I thought it was the wing you colored instead. Either way, nicely done wall, and I like the perspective you created.

another great wallpaper wif a theme behind if,but i go to agree wif some of the comments,the wordings are quite hard to see and the dark wing blends with the background too well.But i really liked it on texture and the part of it that needs to be full view to really find out the beauty of this wallpaper.great work.FaV

It did took me a few seconds to gather what I am looking at when the thumbnail first poped up. Her black wing made an interesting shape and I couldn't tell right away what this is.

Whoa! All I can say to this wallpaper is whoa! There are very few AMG wallpapers out there that show a darker side of AMG, but this one is really well done - not too "emo" like a lot of them are. Great submission!!!

OMG cheche, how did i not see this wall? ITS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! I cant believe it has a B* on it T-T Personally, I think this is A++ work! the vectoring is beautiful, the concept is really good, and the text effects look great! Before my computer crashed, I had a wallpaper with the three of them (bell, urd, and uh...the other girl whose name i cant remember right now. hehe...oh! skuld. right) that i was going to touch up on and submit, but when it crashed i lost everything... T-T a 10 hour wall completely lost..T-T T-T

anyways, the colors are magnificent. Its a really deep and rich color, especially the red of her dress. Im really glad you used red and not purple (or blue, or whatever color she usually wears). I know that since this is Urd, I would probably say that using white hair would have worked out best, and a darker skin tone too, but I think it looks better with the colors you used. It almost makes the viewer mistake it for belldandy you know? and I guess it could be belldandy too. I think this wall would be more for people that havent seen the anime, because if you have, it wouldnt really make sense because bell doesnt really have darkness in her (from what i saw in the show). I like how you decided to go grungy instead, because I think velvet wouldnt have given such a rich effect. ahh it looks so victorian ^-^ I love victorian style art. (or whatever its called...im not very knowledgeable about art). You know, I personally think more shades of brown in her hair would have given it a richer look because while the dress and the wings give the wall a very exquisite style, her hair looks flat compared to the rest of it. i think its because there arent enough shades in it. maybe more darker brown, and more highlights? also, i just thought of this now, but maybe a tear coming down the side of her face could have increased the emotional impact/drama in this wall. there are tears in both death and in love...in happiness and in loss of a loved one. Good job though! definitely a fav and a desktop bg!

I really love the texture of the background in this piece. It seems like you really put a lot of work into it! The scan itself is wonderful, so you started off great as well. This is one of my favorite series of works as well. I have every reason to love this work, and so does anyone else. Once I get into art school, I hope I'll be able to do something as strikingly good as this. There's absolutely no chance of me doing something like this, but here's for hoping. Keep up the awesome work!
