I guess the thing here is... background=good scan=bad the quality D: as you can see from her shoes, it doesn't look like you cleaned the scan even better extraction is needed too, there's jaggy places, and the hair isn't extracted that welll either. for a good background, you should've worked a bit more on the scan.

The background is beautiful, the environment, the colors are looking really good. The gold butterflies, and Soiseiseki looks nice, too, they fit to the background well. Nice wallpaper.

I love the BG, it's beautiful! But the character kinda looks like he's just stuck on and doesn't match the BG. If you take him out, it makes a very beautiful wallpaper!

I like the background very much. Nice painted feel to it without losing detail and quality. The girl and effects fit in well with the scene and the colour scheme is good. Only thing I can complain about is the slight grain on her shoes. Other than that, worthy of a favourite from me (and a few more from other people >___>)
