That's amazing. All the time and effort that must've gone into making this wall... wow. It's a Suzumiya wall that's not all lights and glitz, but it still manages to look suave and awesome. Definitely a fave for me ^-^

hm...don't think I've ever seen this particular scan. Nice job with the background, the tree looks great! The only thing that might add to this is titles for the books but I know that would take forever! Looks great as is:)

:O Nicely done :D I like how you used slightly different colored lines to give the background a bit of depth, and the textures you used for the different background elements. The reflections on the floor look awesome and and I love the brown colors :D The only things I noticed were that the extraction seemed a bit spotty in some places (mostly around their shoes I think), and also that the rough brushing for the tree trunks and hills outside seem a bit too rough in comparison to the rest of the smooth background. Nonetheless this looks great! It'd be a shame for you to not to any more indoor from-scratch backgrounds like this when you can clearly do it really well :)

Nice wall, though I'm more fond of the anime graphics over the manga/novel ones. The writing is a bit "in the middle of nowhere"; I would have prefered if it was in a corner.

I love the subtle realism in this wall as well, especially the reflection on the floor. I'm guessing the mottled effect on the tree is supposed to be because of the glass in the doors. What would've been perfect is if there was that intense brightness in the sky with a bit of sunlight spilling in through the windows that you often see when the sun is low in the sky. A bit cliché I know, but it would have enhanced that mood you've so nicely set up here. This wall wins because anyone who sees it might even think Haruhi is just another run of the mill harem romance!

From the first look, it came to me this will be my favorite for sure. What can I say... the scan is perfect, good looking and well extracted. The background - the same story here, it's flawlessly done. Simple, but fitting the scan perfectly. I know I'm probably overreacting, but it's one of the best wallpapers I've seen in few months past. Keep up the good work, hope to see more such wallpapers in the future.

Great wallpaper, although you say the background was a pain in the butt you did a really good job of it. It fits the image of the girls really well and the colouring of it is spot on too.

You should definatly look into doing something like this at some point again because you did a fantastic job of it. All those hours you put in really paid off, you should be proud ^^

Very nice! A lovely and serene illustration without a whole lot of in-your-face explosive visuals or excessive fanservice. Not that those things aren't nice, but it's also nice to have a change every once in a while. This wallpaper is beautiful. ;)

OH MY GAWD. O.O i wish I had looked at this when it first was in the top 3!!! darn...well, anyways, i hope youre ready for another paragraph long comment. Hehhe ^-^;; First of all, this is going straight to my desktop bg. I LOVE IT. I cant believe you made the bg from scratch. it looks awesome. fabulous. The glass effect you have going on the trees outside is great. Ive seen people try to do it like that, but yours is done very effectively. I dont know if you used the filter on that or not, but if you did, awesome job! I especially love the bars on the windows (or whatever you call them...erm...they arent bars, but the wood paneling or whatever...hehe.) they blend in perfectly, and match really nicely with the scan. All the colors in this wall are really nice and go well together..im glad you chose the fall colors for the outside rather than green. the shiny wood floor is really great too ^-^ <3 just lovin this entire wall! The reflections look very good. hahhahaa I still cant believe you made all those books! holy cow! hahahaha that would have been...tedious! gosh! They look simple enough to make....but THAT MANY!. hahah i would have just made a row and duplicated it for the other rows. I think the only complaint I have about this wall is the fact that the books in haruhi and her friend's hands are smooth, while the books in the bookshelf are textured. I think the shelves need a bit more texture (I see some untextured shelf parts, so maybe texture those, or if they are textured, it might be too low opacity) and the books on the shelves shouldnt have the texture. Instead, they need shadowing like the wood panels on the window to make them look a little rounder. right now, they look a little like wood blocks because they look so straight edged (no offense). I think another part of this wall that I really LOVE is the title. That is such a wonderful idea to have a book like that and the different texts look amazing good together! Some people use different texts together and it looks just plain horrible (..........*points to self* hehe -_-;). simple, yet elegant, your title is. I would fav this wall a hundered times, except i cant. hm, well i hope you had fun reading this. hahaha sorry again. -_-;

(oh, btw, i think the scan could have done with a teeny bit of cleaning. haruhi and her posse look a little grainy compared to the rest of the wall. )

Amazing job on the background. The wallpaper came out very well, however I found the the logo in the lower left to seem out of place when the background has such meticulous care and blends so seamlessly. Also noticed that the reflection of Haruhi's foot is cropped out and seems a bit odd in contrast to the chair and Asahina. Still, these are small concerns and you did a remarkable job. Keep up the great work

The background is done pretty well; when I first saw this I hadn't seen the original scan yet so I would have thought the entire background was your doing. Unfortunately its a face-on perspective... which makes one think its fake. But thats not your fault... since the original was like that. Cute wall.

I love this Wallpaper! It's such a great location (I guess it helps that I love to read and love old looking libraries). I like how the lines are soft and the colours are muted. The girls look like they belong in this library.
