Love the purty colors, though the "crystalizing" reminds me of the movie I watched yesterday. Ice Age 2, when the snow was melting. 0.o

sweet blending and transition and great use of filters! Top right is great but I dislike the part where her hand is faded - it looks a little too layer mask'ish. Other than that, sweet wall, I love the colors.

I like the concept, but I'm not particularly crazy about the colors, unlike some of the previous commenters. It somewhat reminds me of weblayouts or even LJ-icons with its simplicity rather than wallpapers, which is a good thing. I like how it feels reinvented, even though there are similar wallpapers of the same genre. Very well done.

The background is nice, though, it's very bright, with darker tones, it could be better. The character is looking good, the colors are nice. Good wallpaper.

ive had this scan myself for a long time also but couldnt find anything good to do with it. I like the way you used it. It seems to have some very well integrated stockphotos/splas textures into it. Ore some 3d designment that i cant seem to recognise :P it really gives out a feeling that she is inside a block of ice. and not this time the standard shiny blue and dark but lovely green and blue gradient on it. i just dont like the part of her hand/ arm cous that looks a bit plastic shiny and then the part of her face is scanlike simple flat. Somehow it doesnt mix very well but it looks good in the end. and i wonder how that breathof air got there :P all with all a good job and the first winter wall i see that i like :P ill add it to my favs :P 'Beckor

Love the colours and the fading of the background. I don't know this series but from the scan alone i'll definetly search for it! Nice job you've done with it(the scan)

I like the colors you picked and the whole abstract composition, but I wish all that white area was smaller and better used. I know you're a simplistic fellow but the composition still feels unbalanced because of too much white. And the text feels a bit slapped on. You could try reworking the text at your advantage by using an other font that fits better that abstract motion/composition and by making it REALLY BIG size-wise and then diagonally rotating it and placing it right where the white starts so that it goes all around starting from the bottom to the top of the wallpaper.

I am impressed. This is quite a nice wall. I absolutely love the color scheme. It doesn't say "winter" to me though. Nevertheless, I love it. My favorite part is how you managed to blend the character into the crystal-like background. Very nice. Keep up the great work! ^_^

Artistically, this is one of the more interesting concept designs I've seen on the site. Even if you don't post them all, you should keep playing with this kind of thing and see if something really amazing develops!

The picture itself is very good! but it is not good to use it as wallpaper? The color is too bright... and i think darken it a little bit would be much better? By the way, it is still a nice picture Thanks for sharing~!

The colors are very nice! Though I think for his expression, the colors should be deeper. I like the transition into the left side of the wallpaper, but I'm not sure if the ice (the texture?) really matches the rest of the wallpaper. But on the whole, this is pretty!

The color of this wallpaper drew me here, and I cannot stop loving it, such effective and soft colors, great job on that!

Well its not exactly wintery but I think i get why you used these tones in particular. It does in one manner have the wintery thing going on.
