My first wallpaper this year and my first vector using a pen tablet. The image I used for reference is from the front cover of the manga Sasameke (pretty unknown and only the first volume has been scanlated).
You can use the vector for your own purposes, as long as you give me credit and maybe send me a message: PNG | SVG
Everything made with Inkscape.
[EDIT - 23.01.2007] Corrected the aspect ratio of the image and enhanced the font on the right.

*shock* A wallpaper from this series! Woo! The vectoring is very nice and the colors are very nice too! Somehow the BG looks a little plain sometimes, but sometimes not (this is probably a good thing?) The only suggestion I have is... that the words on either side don't really seem to match (each other). I think the Japanese writing matches the wallpaper more. Great job~!

man i love walls like this simple but certainly has a good sense of design in it nice job on the vector too and i think the colours you choose really works in this wallpaper +fav

Love this wall xD Actually the thing about this wall that caught my eye is it's really a little too simple and plain o_o (I know it doesn't sound like a good thing but um this one is good lol) The walls that I see around are waaay too flashy and stuff so yeah this one really caught my attention. After downloading it, I really love it o_o The artwork is pretty too ^^ Now I'm a little interested in Sasameke. Anyways~ +fav ^^

I'm new to using photoshop so I don't know what kind of technique you used on this one. But whatever it's called, I like it a lot. There's only a handful of wallpapers that I saw using this technique and I will definitely learn how to do this *sob*
