Well, finally happy enough with a wallpaper to submit it! This was my first foray into the world of brushing and texture creation, etc, instead of simply stock and image manipulation. Its sweet and simple but interesting nonetheless.
I tried twice to actually wreath the blade in flames, but was not happy with the results either time. The flames look fine, but did not fit with the rest of the image.

so you used basic techniques? it sure look good mostly those flame/wavy effects around the character also the font catch my eye (wich is it?), nevertheless i don't see any flames... besides the effect of the color and around the character, overall it's very good for you 2nd creation

The background is really good, the colors are very nice. The character is looking good too, she fits to the background well. The text could be Flame Sword, anyway, nice wallpaper.

I love it, Shakugan No Shana it one of my top fav animes and this is one of the best backgrounds I have seen made to it. I believe that you titled it well. Those who have not seen the series will probably judge the title on it's wording or as i have read above 'no flames', but all looks great in my opinion. Keep up the awsome work! XD

Wow..very nice..I love SnS so I came across this. The background blends well with Shana and the cloak looks as though its part of the flame background. Adding to favourites~
