Wow, major props for even attempting this. You did an awesome job for your first time. It looks a little, how should I saw, "pixellated", I've seen some pixel art where they were able to make it not crisp but not jagged on the edges, I forgot how they did it but I remember seeing a tutorial on it. Still, great job with all the details. It lost a lot of quality in the JPG transition, I'd like to see a high quality version so I can really see it in all its glory. XD

Lol, this is awesome, seriously. Props for such an original, wacked and nice idea. My only relative complain is that it's probably not extremely desktop friendly in case one has a lot of icons, but for icons-free desktops (or almost icon free ones) this is really a cute wallpaper to use. :)

Damnnnnnnnn, that is a lot of work. Everything looks very good and detailed, I think you did an awesome job. Just one thing I would like to comment on; SAVE AT A HIGHER RESOLUTION!!! I can see a sh*t load of jpeg artifacts, and it really ruins the wall.

Other then that, it is sure to go in my favs.

you're ridiculous, lol. the only thing i would've liked in this wall is a more colorful approach - because WITH the pixelly ness of 10 years ago came a lower set of colors that could be displayed by a monitor; and msot of those colors were intensely bright. but i lol nontheless.

I have to say, absolutely fantastic job! I love making pixel art, so it's awesome to see an entire wallpaper done in it, and a huge one at that. Not something I would have attempted personally...it must have been a nightmare getting everything to line up and be (for the most part) technically accurate.

I like how you hid yourself in the work as well, nice touch. It's like a Where's Waldo book now, heh. No criticisms worth mentioning, overall A+ job.

Whoa... It's sort like a blast from the past and nicely detailed even for a pixel art esp the lawns, the grass and the trees. Frankly, I never play the game before however, this one of those WP that revolutionize the pixel style crazy in AP, IMHO. Kudos to your hardworking effort.

Ah dang, this piece is really a showcase of how to think outside of the box when it comes to wallpaper design. Before even reading your description I had a feeling that this would be partially Sim City inspired from the isometric perspective.

It just makes me smile seeing this, partially out of nostalgia and partially due to your creativity, thanks for this; easily a favorite!

Haha, this is so old school and I love it. I've always been a huge fan of pixel art and this is the first time I've ever seen a work done at such a huge resolution. The lighting may not be perfect, but pixel art isn't necessarily about perfect perspective, it's about blood, sweat, tears, and angsty cries at creating a landscape pixel by pixel. Great job and this is definitely a fav, even if I never use it as a wallpaper. :D

There's a lot going on in it, and I like that. My attention isn't entirely focused on one point, and I find that absolutely stellar. I could never get bored with this one, seriously. I don't like a lot of icons on the desktop, but I can see mine just fine when I use this wallpaper.

Oh, wow. I can honestly say I've never seen any wallpaper like it. It makes me want to whip out my SimCity2000 and put it in my CD-Rom drive and just play again. But of course, I'll probably be too lazy to reach over the minimal distance and get it out of my CD rack. Go figure.

The buildings look so precise in how they are lined up. It really does look like it came from a game. I have never seen a wallpaper like this before. This is pretty good quality too.

Haha, nice! There needs to be a Katamari mod for one of the SimCity games if there isn't already. I'd make a whole city just to be able to see it rolled up (or better yet, load up a recreation of a famous city and watch the Prince go to work on it).
