about the wall, the scenery is really great, and that's almost the same resolution i use (1360x768), so i liked of it even more... ^^

Hi. I like this wallpaper because it has such good colours and it's so calm and peaceful. I think it was a good choice to make a wp from that snapshot. I don't know that anime but I got interested in it.

I am the one who is waiting for this movie ^ ^. I like landscape, it is designed well with appropriate colors. I want to live such that place. This picture implies me the peaceful town and the story of two that I will remember them forever.

This is a beautiful choice of scene for a desktop, it has such a peaceful feeling. Really captures the Japanese countryside in art form. The soft brush strokes work well with it, and all the colors fit so nicely together. Really makes me want to watch this now, heh.

Well I really have never heard of this anime before but I'll your word for it and download it in the near future but anyway for the wall...the scenery is awesome and sure does bring back memories (I'm not that old I just speak like that)but the resolution is a bit abnormal but I guess it is time a bought a wide screen monitor but till then try uploading a more normal one :D

This wallpaper looks very good. Just like all of his movies the backround to this movie is also one of the best I have ever seen in animation. The backround image is always of an open space and the colors lively that you cant help but love the image. I think that you did a good job enhancing the backround even more without putting in to many distraction that take away from the backround. Good job and keep up the good work.

Just recently watched the series, and i'm completely amazed at it. Even the first part was already breathtaking. I love the colors for the sunset you used in this wall. And everything really makes it look like it was digitally painted by Makoto Shinkai himself.

One of my favourite moments in the anime :) It's simply amazing - the way the sunlight falls onto the scenery and illuminates every little thing. For a moment when I saw it at first, I thought the sparkling in the backgound is a city that is in the beginning of its vivid night-life :D Of course I was wrong, but the ocean really adds a lot to the vividness of the picture added as fav :)

Makoto Shinkai's artwork really does need to stake a place on people's desktops. It's always bothered me how every shot in 5 centimeters per second was absolutely gorgeous, but would only get only two seconds of screen time. Now thanks to this wall, I can admire it for as long as I want! Thank you for the effort put in to make this as artistically awesome as it possibly could be.

I like the anime that was made by Shinkai Makoto. It has a good story and wonderful graphic.

Very nice wall. I agree with everyone in saying that you couldn't have picked a better scene.

The entire setup is simply amazing with the calm blue sky, gentle green fields on either side, with the setting sunlight.

As I say it again and again, Cosmonaut is my favorite part in the entire movie. The scene holds the most significance since it's the one where Kanae is given the best chance to confess to Tohno. It's funny how life works that way. Up until that point she was set on talking to Tohno about her feelings yet still shyed away: during classes, after school at the parking lot, at the store...with the most promising and cutest moment outside the store when she reached out and grabbed his shirt...then when all seems lost her moped decides to break down. Despite being able to leave he decided to stay behind and walk her home (which for me is the only option since leaving a girl to walk herself is completely out of the question).

And we come to this scene with the best and longest chance for her to do it. The setting is just perfect and relative to this wall of course which depicts it, you can see why apart from the beautiful soft colors and tones that it holds a dear meaning.

If you haven't, watch the movie then look at this wall again. It'll add another dimension to how you see it.

Overall, nice work. The screen cap you worked with was taken from the trailer but from the movie itself you could get the same view but with them a little closer and more in focus. If you decide to do an updated revision the wall could be supremely better. Though now it's still really good.

You definitely made a great choice in terms of choosing the scan, because Shinkai's strength is definitely those scenery shots that convey so much. I didn't like the whole adding the title thing though, because the scan alone is just so good by itself and if you had cleaned it and maybe added a few lighting effects it would have been just fine. The text doesn't add anything.

Still, good taste and good wallpaper.
