Personally, I think the scan is too light for the background used. Though, this is a personal opinion. otherwise I absolutely love the background design + the sexy scan of Aka (I think that's her name..I can't remember, it's been awhile since i've seen the show) but nonetheless, this is something I'm gonna definately fav cause it's got a lot of potential behind it. An excellant work that I think could use a color change before I put it on my desktop.

If there's anything in the back, I won't be able to comment on it since my desktop has the worst brightness in the world D: Soooo I'll comment on what I can actually see.
The brushwork's pretty funky, and the character's purtiful. If I could only see more... *agonizes*

Really nice. One thing that you may want to consider is the desktop on the mac places the icons on the right side so the icons are on the "busier" side of the wall. Other than that very minor thing, looks great.

I like the colours on this then again black red combo is one of my favourites. That said I think in this one actual scan is clear centerpoint for wallpaper and backround does not try to take attention away from scan that deserver that attention.

I personally really like the background design, especially the effect as seen behind the chair, the lighting that has the vector where the Aka, it looks good, good selection of colors for the background image . good job 10 +
