Ive heard grunge wallpapers and stuff arent liked on AP whell to hell with that im doing it anyway.. Here is a long time running project from me, ive had it imo finished a long time ago and still needed to do the fine tuning and stuff. I lost it out of sight and found it back and finished it today.

total hours of work: 30+ layers: 35

As soon as i saw the scan of this during a random scan browse hunt i just knew i needed to do something with it. I extended the line, removed the original half letters and placed a new line in similair way with all new grunge effects over it. Then made the line all new with grunge and other brushes to give it the same look as the original. fixed up the scan to a bit more quality, i know it still aint high but its better lookin then the original. Most work is in the brushwork to create a good-vibe-grunge-effect, a lot of overlay/softligt/etc effects used and touched them into it. Was a long way of trial-and-error Whell i wont make this a long description so i hope you all like it and fav it and stuff :P

Anyway, I like this paper. It's got good character placement (as usual) and the texturing of the gears is awesome. I notice that you've been doing some minimal backgrounds lately, and I have to say that I appreciate the extra care you put into this one with regards to the blending and the artistic choice of the blank white corner. It's gives me a place to put all my buttons without ruining the great artwork!

I'll fav this one, sir. I'm gonna replace your last wall with this one. I guess if it had to be something, eh?

Oh man the bg is fabulous, I can´t help myself but this is one amazing job. And who said we don´t like grunge walls? Nah...I have only one thing: maybe it´s me but I don´t like the scan, I don´t mean it´s extracted bad, or doesn´t fits there, I just don´t like it...I don´t know(she has a weird smile). But still amazing work as still. Faving!

yeah..the woman is kinda weird..but thats not your fault, so this shouldn't be a point. Using it for my notebook, so its a fav! I like the style, and the way you mixed everything together. Somehow its simple..but very stylish! What i love most about the wall is the combination of abstract and realistic szenes..great work.. omg, give me your skills D:

I like the text its very cool but the character is the thing I dont like, the text and BG look good but the character kills it for me, and also I dont know but where the wall and the white meet it feels a bit aquard

I really like the text you've got. I do wish that the realistic room towards the bottom would blend a bit more with the grunge of the gears, but it doesn't turn me off completely to the wall. Good job! (And I don't think AP necessarily hates grunge; from my experience, it has to be good grunge, grunge done right so to speak. I could be wrong, but it's just been my experience).

It could use some more work I think. The scan is also not a very good one, she has white lines around her and I know thats not from extraction. It needs some kind of dramatic affect.

Gilgamesh is one of my favorites and so is this wallpaper. I like the gears and the coloring. Oh and as far as I'm concerned grunge is a wonderful thing so go ahead and keep using it. You're good at it. Favorited.
