I think the that background was very well done. It has great details. Though I think that Talho and Eureka needs to be blended into the background a little more. Maybe slightly tint the characters in a dark soft blue would help?

The extraction needs work and the lighting looks wrong. Maybe you should put the lighting on the upper left portion of the wallpaper. Also, I think the text would look better on the road than on the planet.

I agree, the background is well done. I like the clouds.

One more thing, compress your file. 1.02 mb is huge for a 1280x960 wallpaper.

Yeah the background is nice. But the extraction is awful... you should rextract the characters (and smooth the edges), and blend them. So far they stand out really too much because the whole background is blue and those characters are everything but blue toned. Either play with Hue and Opacity and give the scan a slight bluish tone. Recging might be an option as well. The text needs work as well, remove the drop shadow instantly (it's the bane of a wallpaper in my opinion unless it's used in a logical way, but in this case it doesn't make any sense) and try brightening the text rather than "texturing" it like that, I think a simple light blue text with a glow (produced by a blurred layer) should be enough and way better looking. I'd also try a different font, still staying in the serif category but I'd use a thinner type of font rather than a wide one like the one you used. Oh and Nunika is right 1 MB for that res is kinda insane lol, usually 1024*960 wallpapers take max 500/600 kb. Compress the file :o .

The scan though... ugh x_x The extraction is truly horrific. I suggest reextracting it to make it blend in with the backround more, and you have WAY too much motion blur on the characters. They are too bright to look at, which makes them stand out of the backround even more.

um could use some more touching up...but even though it looks like it needs more work, it still works. Good stuff...next time spend more time on the extraction and lighting

It's not a bad concept, but it doesn't come together exactly right. For starters, the characters in the original image don't look like their moving, it kinds of looks like they're standing there and posing; adding the motion blur and whatnot just makes it look kind of wierd. Also, you should remove the whole 'Newtype' branding from the back motorcycle wheel. The BG itself isn't bad, but rather than going completely monochrome blue you should include some color, make it a bit more interesting that way. You might have also gone a bit overboard with all the moons and whatnot, you might just want to reduce them down to one to make it easier to see and make the sky less crowded. Overall it's not a bad wall, it just needs some work to be really good.

Erm...I don't know if you updated the scan with a better extraction, but it looks good to me despite eveyone else's comments on how bad it is. The text doesn't really bother me being on the planet, it looks cool, but that light coming out of the smaller moon is kinda weird...Except that it's a really great well I love the background, nice clouds, tho the part above the motorcycle with the blue sky looks bad, it should be dark like the part above it. All in all it's deffinetly a +++fav :)

The background is stunning.. the lighting and softness is perfect. But the scan quality is lacking.. the colours look bright and washed out by comparisoon to the the surroundings. And I think the sharp shadow underneath them looks odd O_O;;

The blue theme really works well here. The scan is high quality, and the background really is spectacular. This must have taken quite a lot of work to do. The only negative thing that I preceive is the inclusion of "Eden's Highway." Some wallpapers shouldn't have words on it, it detracts from the visual experience, and this is one of those.

I love the background; the moon, sky, lighting, everything. But with the scan the girls are stopping, glancing back, so it doesn't make much sense if they're in the middle of the road. But hey; i would do something like this, so no problem.

I love the background its awesome but I think you could of made the extraction better a bit. The edges look off, you should of extracted it and then smoothened the edges a bit or maybe blurr it a little too, that would of worked as well. I think that scan stands out too much, you should of blended them better to make it look even better. You can try cging it again it helps alot if you do it right trust me.
