i like it ^_^, but i didn't know it was gothic, lol...

hi there!!! nice looking wallpaper... I think the scan needs more work.. cause his hair looks really grainy.... but if cleaning didn't work.. you could try fixing it by hand... or try vectoring it... anyway... about the background.. i think that the trees look too realistic... besides the fog needs a little more work cause it doesn't seem to blend well with the rest of the wallpaper... i like the butterflies you added... they look really good... and the color matches well.... the texts looks pretty too... i'm not sure about the glowing circles... but anyway they don't look that bad... the main problem is the realism of the trees.. maybe erasing some branches could be the solution...

The extraction needs work on it. I see a lot of jaggy edges especially on the hair. The scan also needs to be blended in better with the background. However, i like the background it looks really nice, and the colors chosen were good too. I also like the text layout. Just practice on your extractions, and im sure you'll improve soon.

I love the text, the BG, and the character, but I'm not likin' the mist D: I just think that it takes away from the brilliance of the rest of the wall. Otherwise though, not bad :3

Well, I must say that I like the idea and concept of this wall :) I like the words, butterfly, sunset, and of course the chara, well...I like everything in it ^^ I just think that the gothic atmosphere isn't there yet.. As I said, I like the sunset, but maybe night situation will fits more.. Anyway, you made a nice wall n_n

If the character was not smiling it would sure have been more a gothic wallpaper, but still i do love your work, keep it up!

For me the extraction could use a bit more effort fayt... It's not the best you did... I see some slight white parts on the right side of his shirt and the hair are not great looking... Some smoothness could fix that easily...

The stock picture looks pretty nice except of the right tree which is a bit too real for my taste but no a lot of people know how to transform perfectly a real picture in an anime like background and I'm not one of those so I won't complain that much...

The scan is cute but for me if it's that grainy you should have vector it... The outlines are really clear and the shapes aren't that hard to do...

I like the butterflies it's a nice add and the font is GREAT!!! I love it!!!!

But I don't really like the fog... It needs some work I think... You can make it better looking.

Very beautiful! However, one thing that bothers me a bit is some part is not clear and look quite pixelated. Other than that, great job!

Despite the just a little too realistic look of the bg trees, I like it. I never used to be open to walls where there are a mix of realistic looking art and non-realistic (no matter how small the line of difference is between the two), but I now find it pretty unique and fresh somehow. Of course most ppl look for a clean, either fully realistic or non-realistic walls overall, but I believe this mix should be fully acceptable and enjoyed. Good job with the colours and the character is adorable <3 Love the glowing things that float.

Like i said b4 it has a very cute technique ^^ But the median on the scan doesn't go well with the sharpness of the bground. If you apply min to max filter in photoshop it will look much better ^.^ I love the picture. I love the color. I love the words. I love everything about it~! Absolutely beautiful

I think it worked out just fine how you blurred the main character. The way you softened the bottom of the wall with the fog and glows makes it seem natural that he should be a little blurry. The background does look at little too photo like. One think you could try that I have done is only use a stock photo for the sky and use brushes for the trees. If the sky is the stock photo then you can get more wild with using filters to make it look more painted like, and the brush trees on top of the photo won't look too realistic. :D
