This is such a cool idea :O Although I have no idea who the character is... she must either be manga only or I wasn't paying attention enough to the anime XD

I'm a bit perplexed as to the main thrust of the wallpaper. I understand that the style is in chalk, but I fail to see the significance of why you chose chalk. Perhaps if there had been a young Edward or Alphonse Elric drawing the images it might add a bit more depth and meaning to it, they did do a lot of their initial alchemic symbols with chalk throughout the series.

How the image ties in with the Fullmetal Alchemist series or with any of the characters is also vague. I'm assuming that its Edward Elric being portrayed? Its hard to discern. It would have helped if you could have created more recognizeable clues as to who this is or at the least if there were a few more elements creating a bit of a more discernable context.

The title is appropriate for the main element introduced but its unclear as to what you're trying to communicate, whether it be an emotion / feeling or a dinstinct message. French has always been the language of romance and of general sexy sophistication, but I had to go with a exoticness of a foreign language I would have opted for German, there are obvious German overtones throughout the series that are not more punctuated than in the final episode / movie with Hitler and the 3rd Reich making an appearance in the world beyond the gate.

I too like the asphalt and chalk mediums, I think many of us have memories of friends or ourselves doodling on asphalt with chalk in our youth. The feelings that chalk on asphalt evoke have always had strong ties with my childish youth as a little kid. I will argue that its a very potent and primarily untapped resource, and that it draws its power from the fact that as kids, since we are more impressionable, every experience is so much more magnified; traumatic experiences can scar one for life (another element that naturally lends itself to the Fullmetal Alchemist series' inception). I encourage you to run with it.
