Touhou Sunset Time II

first comment!!! :) i really love this wall. it caught my attention when it was latest wall. ^^ the back ground is cool with all petals flying around the girl.^^ sunset ???? when i look this wall, i just think it's about sunrise ^^!!! (that's my opinion, sorry) but i like the effect of the light with petals. it's really nice!! great job!!! i think next time you can get better!!!^^ i'll add it to my favorites!!!^______^ +fav....

I really like the texture and feel of the wall, as well as the colors and excellent lighting. About the only thing that feels slightly "off" to me is the choice of font. Still, it's a very beautiful, serene wall. :D

I like this wall, but there are a few things about it that really caught my eye. First is the pattern in the background. It's interesting, to say the least, but I'm just not sure if I like it or not =S I'm sorta mixed about it. As for the text? I'd definately remove it. It takes away so much from the wall and just really offsets things in my opinion. Also, the barb wire seems a bit random. Or at least it does to me. Just a few things I noticed =3 Overall, it's still a very solid wallpaper and I really love the scan you used. The cherry petals were a nice additional touch as well. I look foward to seeing more of your work in the future =3.

quite nice in the usage of the textures and everything, I would appreciate if the text was at the bottom and smaller and well defined cause the upper side there spoils it for me.

Very cool wallpaper, there's a lot to look at and I like the lighting. I think the bg texture works pretty well with it too. Not sure about the text...it doesn't bother me, but not sure it entirely fits.

the text is a bit too "dirty" also the background maybe a bit too blurry. image quality could have been better. and you could've given it more layers/depth because the lighting on the character is pretty extreme.

I always like well textured sky wallpapers and this one is a good example of such. I also like how you did the text and the blending of the scan and the background. My only problem is the sakura petals which feel a little out of place. Good job! Thanks for sharing!

Oh I love all the textures and the combination of colours you used. They all work very well together! I like how it looks like its all made of peices of paper just set in a collage. :P Good job!

Mmm, I like the texture and attention to detail.

Wow, this was definitely something I hadn't seen in a while, or more importantly, it made me feel something nice, kinda cozy, warm feeling when looking at your work. The colours are a bit off for a sunset, at first glance, but then I thought that this was more like a sunset in a cloudy day, it kinda makes the sky go the way yours did here. And the textures are just amaizing, it's the best in this wall, because it's.. well, unique is the best word I can come up with, but yeah, really makes it something special. Congrats!! ^.^

Also the title isn't that great. A bit more time and effort and you could have made it far more original...

Really nice wall. I loved what you've done with the lighting FX. And the obviously the fact of a great resolution. But... can you make it widescreen??? perhaps 1440x900 ???

I rather liked the fact that you used yellow instead of the usual oranges and reds. It looks good! :D The texture is so pretty with the rest of the wallpaper. The petals looks good too and I just don't like the text, the way they overlap each other. But otherwise, it's pretty good. :)

**I'm truly hating that text at the upper top. This is one of those walls that truly would look much better textless.

Besides that little problem I'm really liking this wall. Very nice use of textures. It really brings out this wall's atmosphere. First wall in a while that really makes me want to get back intothe wall making scene.

Nice smooth textures in this wallpaper but the flower petals and the text just seem to abstract to me. They kind of ruin the feel and look of the wallpaper. I'm not trying to be picky but I have to call them as I see them. The sky blending on the other hand is executed brilliantly, a nice blend.

The background is very nice, the environment, and the sky looks really good. The character is looking good, too, she fits to the background well. The text is nice as well, though, half of the sunset word is partially covered by the time word. Anyway, nice wallpaper.

It's wonderful ! Like a demon showing kindness, or a snowflake in the summer. Very unique, and very lovely! Nice work.

Very nice! I especially like the juxtapositioning of light and dark, good and evil in the scan and background and contrast levels. Detailed, crisp, mostly clean (a few of the sakura petals seem too sharp). I would suggest adding more contrast to the sakura petals, and also to change the font of "sunset time" since it doesn't really match the dark mood of the rest of the wall (and what does "sunset time" mean, anyway?) Oh, and nice use of texture, really brings depth and visual interest to the wall.

The sunset scenery looks to be really realistic and the texture and colors fit the scenery well. The girl's expression looks kind of weird, i can't really tell whether she is looking at us sinisterly or just trying to express "don't worry, we'll meet again when (insert time here)" ~___~ And something i want to ask you, the pattern, or something like that in the sky, i don't really get it, looks like as if the sky is wilting. Maybe i don't really guess the texture yet, but overall, a great wall (the font looks mediocre but great)

Great theme of light and dark transitions on this piece, although I don't really like the texture you used in the transitioning piece. The pose and expression are definitely key points to bringing out the 'danger' at first glance. Love it~

I love the background with those textures... specially because it has lights and shadows. The sakura looks great. And the image of the girl is really pretty.

It wouldn't fit my screen very well as a wallpaper (1920 x 1080 here), but it would be perfect as a profile picture imo. Still love the gradual color change in the background. ... is that Flandre?
