Carnelian Goldfish

Whoa! Seriously awesome background idea you've given this! I know, I love Carnelian artworks ^_^'. Anyway, I think the scan needs a better extraction -- I can see some rough pixels in the hair where it gets a little choppy. The image also retains that kind of fuzzy "scan" feeling -- bit hard to describe, but noticeable nonetheless. I actually don't mind the outer golden glow as much I thought I would, but I suppose blending it a bit more wouldn't hurt ( not that much of a problem for me either way ).

I really love the background idea here, it's neat, and I love the scan with the fish! It's cute. ^o^

With some tweaking of the scan image, this could be even better. ^_^

Such a nicec image...like the slight orange halo surrounding it. The backgroun effect is well done. Not too busy that it distracts the eye from the image, and the colours complement it nicely. Good job!

hhahahaha!!! It's very pretty ^^ ^_^ I love it! Although the notes in the background are kind of edgy and boldy. If you can make the notes more lively, because that represents the music the girl in your wallpaper plays, then it makes it look like the girl is playing more of a soft, peaceful music instead of hard, edgy, and boldy music. Get what I mean? But otherwise, it's really really pretty. I like your background colour, sort of match her hair. And also, I like the music sheets are like flying in different direction and shape. Nice job! The image is also clear. But however, I'm not sure what that brown line is doing in the wallpaper, it makes it look like the music piece is torn and old.... oh well, I'm adding you to my favourite list ^^ Excellent job!

Great job mathcing the background witht the kimono the girl is wearing.... while the scan is really cute, its quality isnt as good. The edges of her hair and around her hands seems too jary to be sen easily. Plus, the black glowing fonts on the bottom ruins the whole mood IMO. Well, great effoert, keep it up

The piece flows very well. I love the light and smooth background with the hints of goldfish all around. You've certainly milked the goldfish theme to its extent in this wall, and you've done a grand job of linking it all together. :)

are they goldfish pictures in the background? and how did u make that wheel looking pattern? it's a very interesting background...usually i don't pay too much attention to blurred backgrounds, but this is quite interesting to look at.. the halo thing around the girl makes a nice effect...kinda makes the wallpaper more dreamy ^^
