SUGOI! I love this wall paper, its sooooo nice. The umbrella is just a little too bright. Making it my background as we speak.

Oh, very beautiful. I have a penchant for blue so this definately gets the thumbs up from me in terms of that. I like the image of Rei, can't say I've ever seen it before. Simplicity suits this wall well, it'd be too clustered up if you added anything more I think. Pretty background, it looks like she's walking through a frozen forest or something. If you were to add some text in the future I'd place some in the upper-left hand corner near the white light. Lovely wall. :)

lool nice one, simple, nicely coloured, but yea as Keideki said, rei may jus be a little bright, a touch of dodge will prob help to blend in the background smoother ..

Wow, I'm loving this. The grass looks pretty believable-- it blends with the bg well. You might want to blur the edges of the leaves a little to make them a lil more realistic. besides that, I like the BLUE and the composition. I think adding text would be overkill. It's nice the way it is^^

I think it's coooolll enough. coz it's blue, it gives an icy feel. I like it. I really think it's the reality of the world, cold and icy. Great wall :neko:

I like this. It's got something about it....surreal reality? I like the tones used and the bright I actually like. I like white to glow in some pictures.

It looks like half of her legs are buried in earth O_o. Seriously. Sure, the grass can get that high, but... in casu , it just look too thin for that. Maybe you should leave the grass just behind her?

The default canadian leaves look odd - I'd suggest you to go for some kind of custom brush, personally.

It's hard to read the credits. Maybe using a non-cursive font would help?

Wow yeah it is very blue. Feels like she's in the water on a beach somewhere with trees coming out of the sea...and emm grass too. Good thing you broke the blueness up a bit with some white (ish) as the focus. I really like the neon blue on the umbrella handle for some reason. I agree with vibe, it does feel like a 'surreal reality'. Nice idea!

Very very nice wallpaper! i love it! the colour of the background really suits rei's hair colour and style.

It may be simple, but is in no way less artistic ;) . The blue background works very well, it definately looks almost like a painting, and I like the idea of Rei being the only 'colorful' part of the wallpaper, adding a central piece and being the main focus of the artwork. I'm not quite sure about the grass though. Maybe if the look a little more 'artistic' like the trees and less realistic they blend more with the background. None the less, it's great work... :clap:

Whoa, this is probably one of the best Evangelion wallpapers I've ever seen. The colors are perfect and the girl(hated the series itself so much especially the ending that I can't recall her name at the moment...) I would still suggest that you do something about the edges of the tree though. They are okay right now but comparing to the girl's outline, it seems too painting-ish. Also, you might want to make the leaves smaller or use a different leave brush because they look really out of place in this painting like wallpaper. Otherwise, nice wallpaper, keep it up.

I love the bg =) The blue scheme seems to be extremely effective with Rei's hair. I'd add more lighting so it looks less flat and more three dimensional. I'm not sure about the leaves because they seem to be lacking perspective... Anyways, this is an awesome wall, haven't seen anything like that with Rei yet =P

Tis very good. The color makes up for any and all faults. With so much focus on Rei, it's hard to notice lack of detail in the background, or the fac that her legs are cut off xD But anyone who can correctly use color wins a +fav in my book.

It's so pretty and i like the blue surronding. It really gives that cold lateautumn feeling that fits with her cloths,hair and the rest of thw body.

A suggestion maybe is that you could work a little on the brushes. It's too ordinary.

Rei looks very clean and sharply colored while the background has a more fuzzy painted look. I suppose its a good tool to make the subject matter stand out. ;)

Wow that looks so nice. The blue is very nice. Wait the blue is everywhere, well then everything looks great. The eyes contrast very well too. But it doen't really look like Rei but that's okay. I can tell it's her.

sugoi sugoi! nice blue theme! i like it very much, it's unique that you were able to succeed in blending in different shades of blue and then there's that lovely image of Rei. Personally, I see nothing wrong with it (except that it's too small for my screen ^^;) but still a fave and i'll save it and it'll become a part of my screen saver! Great job! I hope you work more with uni-colour themes again, you have a talent for it.

I'm not a fan of Eva by any means, but I simply love what you did with this wall. Placing the scan like you did, I almost feel the power and height of the trees surrounding Rei, even as they pull back further into the wall. The Photoshop leaf brush is strangely okay here; at a few spots I'm not so fond of it, but overall, it's alright. The color and simplicity yet strength of this background is truly stunning. Very good work.

As some here has said it's a little to bright for me to. I would like to have a little darker tone of the background and it seems the legs have been dug down into the ground or something. Anyway i really like how the character looks and how her shirt matches the umbrella.

Ah my favorite scan of Rei. Treated with the respect it deserves. The BG is really expertly done. The only little itty bitty itty bitty (x 1000) thing that I can find a little distracting in the bg, is the spot where Rei's legs meet the grass. From the viewing angle its looks a little as if she doesn't blend in. Maybe a little less angle maybe, maybe a perception of how tall the grass is. PLZ PLZ This is my humble opinion and I am by no means a pro of any sort, I really just want to help. Like I said its very very small thing maybe Im a little tired (probably latter lol).

I mean, its nice and all, and really demonstrates your ability to manipulate images, but the wallpaper itself, in my opinion, just doesn't really work for me. The biggest problem I have is why ayanami would be in a fishbowl in the first place. It's pretty but just so unconventional, and I'm afraid to say that's not in a good way. I simply don't think it contrasts well at all. Sorry for being harsh, but I figure that constructive criticism is better than unadulterated praise, no matter how i good it makes you feel.

The Monet style blurry touche painted trees with sharp leaves on top makes a very nice background that's balanced, not too sharp and doesn't give a headache like the gaussian blurred backgrounds.
