Air Gear Icarus

Fan service? Bah, more of like a beautiful artwork. Honestly, I don't see anything offensive about this image, unless you find wings and girls to be offensive =x. I also like the sorta widescreen effect given by the boarder. Though, normally I'm not fond of it, in this case I am :). What impresses me the most is the amount of detail put into the wings. Honestly, these are by far the best wings I have ever seen. No joke either.

I'm glad to see that you were inspired enough to start working on it again and to submit it as well ^^ It's truly a gorgeous wallpaper. A favorite for me.

The difference from the two versions is sooo noticeable :P

ANYWAYS, Air Gear's artwork is amazing, and you've turned this pic of Rika into a masterpiece *claps* Tying in Air Gear to the story of Icarus is particularly potent because Icarus's quest is an underlying theme to the plot. It makes for a good wall with a good background story if you get it.

this is beautiful =) I love the tale of Icarus~! and I'm in love with her wings~ ♥ this would have made a great widescreen wall =D but it's just as beautiful the way it is. it might have been a good touch if her body was a little lighter than the background, but as I said, it's beautiful the way it is ^^ +Fav ♥

Really nice, detailed work. Also, v2 works for me, I don't think it is too much. Maybe you could upload widescreen resolutions. It would be easy to crop the picture. ^^ But anyway, really good job. Goes to my favs.

I also love the wings and the super smooth lines. :D But i think it could do without the black bars.

PS. LoL at 2nd version. it would have been acceptable.

There's not that much fanservice going on (I've seen worse), but this wall looks GREAT! I love the details on the wing and the birds in the bg is a really nice touch. Everything is really beautiful.

P.S. The v2 is better IMHO. It would've been acceptable here.

Definitely a masterpiece and expressed the style of Air Gear. The wings make this wallpaper more abstract and distinct. If I saw this in random, it probably belonged to Air Gear artwork. Keep it up

I like the way you use the scan. The wallpaper is very pretty and easy on the eyes. The girl on there fits in perfectly with the background and environment. Keep up the great work!

I love the shades of grey, they mix so well together. Also the wings look amazing. You can tell, when you look at them that you really went through a lot to get them right. It's great wallpaper of a great character.

erm..i think the picture is nice..but its looks a bit dark..so i think u should color her back and the wing with brighter color..to make it attractive from the picture.. i like this comic..so i happy to see more picture from u..

Oh, wow. First of all, much kudos for redrawing all the lines. And I really think you did nail that atmosphere of dream, and her body with the wings and hushed muted colors is just incredible. Rika's emotions come through perfectly clearly.

this wall of rika is good but i would have preferred it without the black string. But heck it still looks good with the string there XD

wow 10 hours well i think that it is definitely worth it to produce such a wall

but i feel that the title icarus suits rika though more suitable for sora in my opinion
