Samurai Champloo Ghetto (Fabulous?) Mugen

Very stylish wallpaper, I think you managed to achieve the look you were aiming for. The scan of Mugen looks exceptionally well vectored; excellent job reproducing the details on his clothing and his face particularly, very clean and faithful to the character's overall look.

I also dig the background, simple, yet effective. The stripes aren't overbearing, but rather provide cohesion the the overall theme of this wallpaper much better than a simple gradient or even whitespace.

To round it off, the text you put on the wallpaper further gives your wallpaper a unifying concept without being too obtrusive.

PS: Widescreen but no 1680x1050? I'd hate to have to do a crop and stretch job for this to fit on the screen *hint, hint*

This wall simultaneously made me laugh and gasp. It's sort of silly, seeing Mugen dressed in pink and green, and yet it's very fitting. The style of vector and background is simplistic and stylish, which I've always been a fan of, and overall it just looks cool.

Here's my short comments: - The BG pattern and color is unusual but cool - You make Mugen character from other "point of view" which is fantastic - The combination of all brushes, patterns, fonts and effects make the POP-RETRO look more eye-catching!

Yeah, i agree with you on the pink. Its not gurly looking at all.. I mean.. "Only real man wear pink..." So, Duh! Mugen is a reall man! :) haha.

I really like the background stripes; they're textured perfectly, and the colour combination is interesting without being excessive.

Love It Love It. It's Nice To See Him Wearing Something Else Besides Those Horrid Shorts! The Colors Are So Bright And Alive.Very Hip And Stylish.

I can't help it... it's just too funny somehow. Mugen in modern clothing, looking like he could pass for some standard skateboarder on, or something similar, is too hilarious. lol

As for the design: I really like this kind of style. I'm keep ending up with a lot of dark walls--not on purpose!--so it's nice to have such a bright wallpaper to use when things get a little dour. Nice job with the bottom left corner, it works well.

Meru Meru| One of my favorite wallpapers from the Samurai Champloo album. <3 Love the colors that're used and Mugen just looks completely fabulous. The one you did with Jin just compliments it too. It's like you can't have one or the other. You've gotta have both.

This one and the New Definition of Vogue are great! Both have a really well done use of colors, and everything just matches in a great way. This one I have to say is just a little, little bit below the New Definition of Vogue one, because of the brightness of the orange and yellow can really be a flash at your eyes... Either way, it's still amazing!
