Just a simple wallpaper. I saw this interesting photo when browsing Stock Exchange for unrelated stocks, and liked the striking color combination, and the strong diagonal lines in the image. I wanted to make a monochromatic wall with the purple and yellow the image had, and figured that something from Ai Yazawa would be bold enough to go with the scheme. I found the scan of Yukari already sitting down a good match, although I had to alter the positioning of her legs so she sat on the stairs better. Instead of shading, I used the patterns from the original scan for the few areas of different colors. Since the scan is from the "Lonely in Gorgeous" disc, and she does look lonely yet all dolled up on those stairs, the title stuck. And if you don't like the text, it'll only take you a minute to remove it in Paint. Oh, and the butterfly is stolen from my Yuuko wall.Widescreen is wiiiiide!

That's a interesting idea! And the colors give it such impact haha. Her skin looks a little too yellow to me though, but I know that's to keep it simple and to match the BG. The texture on her clothes add a nice bit of elegance! I don't really think her angle really matches the stairs still, but it's still very nicely done~

and one more person takes a stab at what IMO is one of the hardest series to work into a wall: Paradise Kiss.
like ish said, the colours are a bit much, even for me (and that's saying something.) i'm not sure if i like the simplicity of it either. good concept, though.

Lovely wallpaper! It's simple yet very eye-catching. It also looks like one of those billboard signs about fashion and stuff. Really good! And best of all you used my fav pic of Yukari. I love her clothes. *__* Nice colors too. Purple!<3

the concept is great! very cool and catchy...the only thing i find slightly weird is the way she sits...slightly un-model-like, anyway, i have seen da ori scan b4 and i think u did a great job altering the legs. cheers:)

I believe it's safe to say I'm addicted to ParaKiss now. I love this paper. Not only because it has the color purple =O

Wow, when I compare this wallpaper to the other simcity-like wallpaper that you also, did, I have to step back and wonder if they're by the same artist xD.
They're, well, different to say the least. Haha, I'd say that you did the two to show off your versatility in the styles you can create, hmm?

While I'm not a big fan of purple and orange, I think this still makes for a visually striking wallpaper. Very bold. Probably would have liked it more in pink and white or purple and white, though.

Ooh, nice! Simple, but nice. I like the colours you chose for this. It makes me think of soft electric light and not quite thick night shadows. And it's nice that you made it in so many resolutions, mine is pretty hard to find. Cheers!
