This is my second anime wallpaper that I had submitted to animepaper.

I know most people probably don't like this wallpaper. I probably could have done better =). This is my first time doing an artificial grafitti on photoshop.

When I'm making this wallpaper, I'm thinking on how the NERV logo (from Evangelion) would look like as a graffiti. I basically made it based on how I would do it myself; not that I know how to do it. I didn't make it too perfect so it has a "human" feel in it.

I changed the font and stroked some brushes in different colours by hand. As for the leaf, I based the design on a picture of a rattan-weaved kettle that i scanned from a Japanese cultural book.

Wow! Great idea, great execution - although the red and yellow pixels are showing in a few places on the leaf in the versions higher than 1152x864. You may want to fix that. In fact, I hope you will, I'd love to download and use this.

i'm not sure if i like how you did the inside of the leaf, but the NERV text looks good. the font at the bottom pops out a little too much against the spraypaint style of the NERV text, however. good, but could be better.

I think that for a first try it's not so bad. It's cool, actually! I like it! ^^...it has that "human touch" as you said. I think the concept of the graffiti was well done. It looks real. The leaf is also cute, but maybe you could fix it...I don't know how though. But it's still cute, don't get me wrong! I think the whole thing is nice, but maybe if you practice a bit more it could get way better! Give it a try! Keep up the good work! :) *fav*

Just WoW x) . The graffiti style on the Nerv's logo is very original, despite I prefer the "normal" version, but it's coloured, full of life(good engliish ^^' ) and in the same time I have a strange impression when i look this wallpaper. Even Good Job, favourite of course
